Churchill to Seal River Heritage Lodge
After breakfast you fly to Churchill, then take a charter flight to Seal River Heritage Lodge. Lunch happens at the lodge, followed by meeting your guide and going through polar bear safety training. Your first wilderness hike starts this afternoon. Over the next several days the rhythm stays similar: breakfast around 8 a.m., morning hikes searching for polar bears across the tundra, back for lunch, then afternoon exploration. Dinners come with guide lectures, and the lodge watches constantly for polar bears and northern lights.

- Days 6 - 9
Churchill to Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge
You fly to Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge, located 250 km southeast of Churchill. The flight path takes you over York Factory, where the Hudson's Bay Company ran operations as the historic center of the fur trade. At Nanuk you'll see plenty of Arctic wildlife: polar bears, black bears, wolves, moose, caribou, and various bird species throughout your time there. Evenings give you lodge amenities and time to relax.

Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge to Winnipeg
You leave Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge by plane with chances to photograph the Arctic landscape from the air. Once in Churchill your luggage gets stored and you have the whole day free to walk around, check out small shops and museums, including the famous polar bear prison. Later that evening you fly to Winnipeg and stay near the airport.
