Itinerary
- Day 1
Leh
You'll arrive in Leh and check into your hotel to start adjusting to the altitude. Spend the rest of the day taking it easy since traveling here can be tiring. Later this evening, there's a group meeting where you'll connect with other travelers and the photography mentors leading the tour.

Landmarks Leh - Day 2
Leh to Kargil
Head out early from Leh toward Kargil, driving through mountain scenery the whole way. You'll pass through Lamayuru with its distinctive yellow hillsides shaped by an old glacial lake. The route includes several stops along the way to take photos and stretch, then you'll reach Kargil by evening and settle into your hotel.

- Day 3
Kargil to Suru Valley
Leave the main Leh-Srinagar highway and drive toward Suru Valley heading into Zanskar territory, where there's barely any development or towns. You'll arrive at your first camp with excellent views for both sunrise and sunset photography over the mountains. This is when you'll first spot Nun and Kun peaks, two massive snow-covered mountains around 20,000 feet high.

- Day 4
Suru Valley
Drive higher into the mountains to reach your second campsite, positioned roughly 15km from the Nun-Kun peaks. A small mountain village sits near the camp, giving you a chance to walk around during daylight hours. Evening and night are reserved for photographing the dramatic terrain and peaks surrounding your location.

Landmarks Nun and Kun peaks - Day 5
Suru Valley to Rangdum
Travel to the next camp near Rangdum, continuing further and higher into the mountains. By this point camping feels more natural and you're handling the high altitude well. Expect the same dramatic mountain scenery to continue throughout the day and at your new location.

Landmarks Rangdum - Day 6
Rangdum to Zanskar Valley
After crossing Penzila Pass at 14,000 feet, you'll camp at a beautiful spot beyond Rangdum. You've now entered Zanskar Valley after leaving Suru Valley behind. The landscape features snow-covered peaks, frozen slopes, and glacier formations. Your mentors continue teaching photography techniques and you'll notice your images getting stronger. Shoot mountains and night skies before heading to your tent.

Landmarks Penzila Pass Zanskar Valley - Day 7
Zanskar Valley to Kargil
Start heading back toward your first campsite near Kargil, retracing the route but the landscape remains just as nice to photograph. You'll camp one more night with chances to shoot sunset, star-filled skies, and a memorable sunrise before beginning your journey back toward towns and roads.

- Day 8
Kargil to Leh
Drive back to Leh this morning, leaving behind the remote camping and returning to your hotel with real beds. This is your final night in the mountains. Tonight the tour operator has organized a farewell dinner with barbecue and drinks, and each person gets a gift.

Landmarks Leh - Day 9
Leh to New Delhi
