We can offer Scandic Copenhagen. They have availability for 2 nights (19 - 21) and the total cost will be 600 EUR (150 EUR pp a night sharing). For the night swap on the 27th, this can be done however due to the price difference between the 2 cities for this night we would require an additional supplement of 160 EUR to make the change. The hotel is Copenhagen would be Comfort Vesterbro.

Are you able to do both the Sognefjord cruise and the Flåm Railway or is it one or the other? Will we see a lot of waterfalls on this tour? What is the name of the hotel for the first night in Oslo?

The Sognefjord cruise is the only optional excursion for this day. The Flåm Railway is already included in the itinerary, so you'll have the opportunity to enjoy both experiences. The Flåmsbana train journey from Myrdal to Flåm offers spectacular scenery, including several beautiful waterfalls along the route. If you love waterfalls, I would highly recommend adding the optional Sognefjord cruise. The optional package also includes a ticket for the Fløibanen funicular in Bergen and the Troll Cars, which take you up to the Briksdal Glacier. Another fantastic area known for its impressive waterfalls. In addition, you'll see many more waterfalls as you travel through Norway's stunning fjord landscapes.

Do you have any departure dates around June 20th 2027?

We will release the new dates and rates for 2027 in the end of July. We do have 2 dates around 20th June, 18th and 25th.

Why is the 32% discount shown on the tour details page (USD $2,910.52) not reflected at checkout (USD $4,281.38)?

The departure date is unfortunately closed for sales as the last room was sold. We have availability on 24 July at Magic of the Fjords tour, which is the earliest available, and I can offer 25% discount per person.

Why do you not identify the denomination for your prices? There's a huge difference between US and CDN. Are you an American company?

We are looking for 2028 dates. When will they be available? If not soon, will they typically follow the type of dates in 2026?

We are about to publish the dates for 2027 summer. I expect next year to publish them little bit earlier (April - May) and for now we do not plan any major changes, although we are in the process of upgrading tours and increase our departures something that i expect to continue for 2028 as well. I can´t 100% promise that the departure day will not change, but for next year the tours will be starting again on Fridays and I believe that the same will be our goal for 2028.

What kind of accommodation is available for a party of 3?

We can ask the hotels for a triple room in which case it will have 3 beds. Otherwise there is the option for 1 twin and 1 single room in which case your sister will be on the single room. Keep in mind that children are considered up to 12 years old.

is there a guaranteed departure on aug. 28

Unfortunately the departure of 28th August is closed for sales. The same day we have Vision of Scandinavia starting from Copenhagen if you are interested to join another tour on the same day. Otherwise Fjords, Charm and Traditions are guaranteed on 21st August and 4th September.

Norway's beauty sells itself. We went to nice places and it was well organized. That said, the tour started getting redundant. The last few days we would sit on a bus for five hours just to see another fjord or waterfall. We had no experiences with Norwegian culture, cuisine, or people. Perhaps a meal in a fishing village, a night out in Bergen, some Norwegian music venue. The best things we did we found on our own - watching the soccer match with the masses in Voss and riding the lift in Loen. This was my fifth country tour (Iceland, Ireland, southern Italy, northern Italy) and the first not to include atleast a group lunch or dinner each day and the first not to have a group kickoff dinner the first night or a goodbye dinner the last night. Luckily, we had a good group of travelers who got along very well. Okay tour but could have been much better.Show more

  I guess we are still confused about the logistics of how we would be able to do both the cruise and the whole Flåm train ride. If the bus leaves us at the pier and the cruise goes from Gudvangen and ends in Flåm how are we able to see the scenery on the train from Gudvangen to Flåm? Does the cruise take you back to the pier at Gudvangen and you get on the train back to Flåm?

  The tour starts in Oslo. Guests who choose the optional excursion package will have the opportunity to experience both the scenic Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) and a cruise on the beautiful Sognefjord.
  
  Depending on operational arrangements, the order of these excursions may vary:
  
  • The Sognefjord cruise may be operated first, followed by the Flåm Railway from Flåm to Myrdal, before continuing by train towards Voss in the evening.
  • Alternatively, the Flåm Railway may take place first, with the Sognefjord cruise following upon arrival in Flåm and after the cruise going by coach towards Voss.
  
  In either case, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy both experiences, only the order of the itinerary differs.
  
  The optional excursion package is available for EUR 185 per person.
