Hanoi
Your private driver will be waiting when you land in Hanoi and takes you straight to your hotel. Once you check in, the rest of the day is open for you to wander the historic streets at your own pace. Head back to the hotel whenever you're ready to settle in for the evening.

- Day 2
Hanoi
Start the day at a local wet market where you'll walk through with your guide, picking out ingredients while learning about Vietnamese food culture. From there, you head to a cooking kitchen where you'll prepare authentic Vietnamese dishes, plate them nicely, and sit down to eat what you've made at a garden villa with local wine included.

- Day 3
Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Mua Cave
This morning you depart for Ninh Binh province to see ancient Vietnam. Check out Hoa Lu, which served as the capital from 968 to 1010, and learn about the feudal dynasties that ruled from there. After that, you cycle around the village and then spend about an hour and a half on a bamboo boat through Tam Coc. Later, climb nearly 500 steps up Mua Cave to see the lotus fields spread out below before heading back to Hanoi.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
After checking out, you travel across the Red River Delta where the rice paddies are bright green, eventually reaching Ha Long Bay. You'll board a cruise and take in the limestone rocks and karst formations from the boat. Lunch is seafood, and you'll have time to relax on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, go kayaking or swimming to get closer to the grottoes, then return to the boat for an early dinner.

- Day 5
Ha Long Bay
Get up early to watch the sunrise from the sundeck while having breakfast. Join a tai chi class on the sun deck to get your mind and body moving. Visit a limestone cave with stalagmites and stalactites inside. The boat heads back to harbor while you have brunch on board, and then you transfer to your Hanoi accommodation.

After breakfast at your hotel, you have free time to do as you please until your driver arrives to take you to the airport. You fly to Hoi An, get transferred to your hotel, and check in. The rest of the day is yours to explore the town however you want.

- Day 7
Hoi An
Your guide meets you at 2:30 pm in Hoi An City Center to begin the walking tour. You visit the busy market, then head to Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall with its colorful gates and dragon decorations. See the old houses like Phung Hung and Tan Ky, and walk through the Museum of Folk Culture in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant building. You'll catch some art performances at the Traditional Performing Arts House, check out handicraft shops and galleries, and later take a boat ride to release a flower lantern into the night while the lantern streets glow around you.

Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge
Your minivan picks you up between 7:30 and 8:00 am for the trip to Ba Na Hills via cable car. This cable car is the most modern in Southeast Asia and gives you great views over Da Nang's coast. You visit the Golden Bridge with its unique design, Le Jardin D'amour with its nine gardens, and Linh Ung Pagoda. Then you take a second cable car up to the French Village. Lunch is a buffet, and after that you board the Lava Train to see multiple spots including Helios waterfall, Time Gate, and Moon Kingdom. You'll explore Fantasy Park with its Fairy Forest, Dinosaur Park, and various rides and games. The cable car brings you back down at 3:00 pm, and you arrive at your hotel by around 4:45 to 5:45 pm.

Ho Chi Minh City
Your English-speaking guide meets you at 6:00 pm at your hotel lobby for a scooter tour through Saigon. After getting safety instructions, you ride through the evening rush hour traffic to reach real local food vendors. Try Vietnamese pancakes while your guide explains the history of local dishes. Stop at authentic spots to eat Vietnamese noodle soups like Bun Bo Hue or Banh Canh. Visit a small hidden coffee shop where you'll learn to make traditional Vietnamese coffee using a Vietnamese filter. Finish with Vietnamese desserts, and you'll be back at your hotel by 9:30 pm.

Your driver picks you up at 7:20 am. After a good breakfast, you travel to My Tho on the left bank of the Mekong River. From there, you board a sampan and cruise past the four islands known for their dragon, unicorn, phoenix, and tortoise names. Stop at Unicorn Island to walk the country lanes, see orchards, taste tropical fruits, and listen to folk songs from locals. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and visit family businesses, a honey farm, and a coconut candy workshop. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, and then you can either cycle around Tan Thach village to meet people and see daily life, or kick back in a hammock. You head back to Ho Chi Minh in the evening.
