Itinerary

Day 1
Doha
Your driver picks you up at Doha Hamad International Airport and takes you to your hotel for check-in. Once settled, head over to Souq Waqif where you can walk through the historic market and get a feel for local life. The Museum of Islamic Art comes next and it's worth spending a couple hours there if you're interested in the collection. After lunch, drive along the Corniche waterfront and stop at Dhow Harbour for photos. Katara Cultural Village is your next stop, then you'll head to Pearl-Qatar Island for some shopping and dinner. This evening you'll take a traditional dhow wooden boat trip out on the Persian Gulf to see the nightlife before heading back to your hotel around 11pm or so.

Day 2
Mesaieed - Desert Safari
After breakfast, you'll drive south for about an hour to Mesaieed where the desert safari starts. A short camel ride gets you comfortable with the landscape, and then the real action begins with dune bashing across red sand in a luxury 4-wheel-drive SUV. The drive is exhilarating with plenty of ups and downs through the dunes. You'll spend some time at the beach area where the desert meets the Arabian Sea. From there, the drive back to your hotel takes the rest of the afternoon, leaving you free to relax, explore more of the city, or hit the shops.

This was an excellent tour with 2 full days of activities seeing both the highlights of Doha and the north of Qatar. It included also a Desert Safari with Camel rides, SUV dune bashing and a relaxing rest in a camp by the Red Sea.

We just came back from an amazing visit to Jordan. This is the second time we have used Agate Travel for a trip and like the first time, everything was meticulously planned and executed. We had a personal driver (Radwan Alshwikee) the entire time who went to great lengths to make sure we were taken good care of everywhere we went. He provided insights into the culture, took us to great local restaurants, and helped us with anything we needed every step of the way. In Jerash and Petra, we supplemented our visits with extremely knowledgeable tour guides who shared great insights and information about these ancient sites. We went back to Petra in the evening to experience it by candlelight and with the help of our driver, Radwan, we were able to be among the first people to get in, so we largely had the place to ourselves before other people showed up. Jordan is a wonderful country to visit, the history is unmatched, the desert is spectacular, and the people are very friendly. If you are contemplating visiting: Go! You won’t regret it.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Agate Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
