This is a mixed review. The black and white desert is amazing - truly a special place and I urge anyone who has to opportunity to go and experience the magic. I would also urge people to do the 2 day rather then the 3 day tour. Our second day consisted of being brought to a hotel (and assigned a windowless room) at 9 am, being picked up at 1, lunch till 2, and then a “tour” of a palm grove, a salt lake (where there was apparently no swimming), seeing some formations, and then a climb to the“English house” which provided a panoramic view of the oasis. All of the “activities” were pleasant enough but by 5.30 our guide announced that was all there was to see. So back to the hotel. Our frustration was in part due to having received an itinerary from the company about the second day that was not respected at all. We simply did not see the things we were supposed to. As such - notwithstanding a lovely night in the desert - i cannot recommend this company.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Ancient Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Ancient Egypt Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
