  We are an active group and like to hike, kayak, is there any caving in vietnam. We would like less City more culture Homestay Etc what do you have. Which month would be better for weather september, october, or November

    The best months to visit Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia are October and November. I highly recommend late October to early November, as this is the beginning of the dry season. During this time, the weather is generally cool, comfortable, and sunny across most regions. Perfect for outdoor activities and sightseeing.
    
    In Laos, you will have the opportunity to explore spectacular caves and visit beautiful waterfalls. In Vietnam, your experiences will include cycling through peaceful countryside and Kart mountains in Ninh Binh, boating along rivers and through caves in Ninh Binh, hiking 500 steps to the top of a mountain in Ninh Binh, staying overnight on the water in Halong Bay, kayaking and exploring cave, crawling through the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, and experiencing a boat ride through the floating life of the Mekong Delta. In Cambodia, you will discover the mysterious and magnificent Angkor Wat and hike up Phnom Bakheng Hill to enjoy a stunning sunset.
    
    Regarding accommodations, I can certainly arrange homestays, bungalows, or lodges instead of hotels where available in each destination.

But we can tailor anything of the itinerary to matches your requirement: like : swap the city to start . For example: you can change the start city is Hanoi, Vietnam then Laos then Cambodia

  Can I pay now for the travel package or do I need to ask for confirmation of seat availability? If I can't get another day off work, I will have to leave on the 20th and not the 21st like all the other guys, is that a problem?

    If you fly to Vientiane, we will pick you up from the airport and arrange transfer to Luang Prabang. You have two options: Express train about 30 USD/person or Domestic Flight about 55 USD/person. We recommend Luang Prabang, the UNESCO city.

Also, since it is only just over a month until the planned start date, will I get the visa in time?

    For visa to entry Vietnam, as you hold Australian passport, so it is easy for you to get evisa. The e-visa is the cheapest way to get Visa. If you can't obtain from the link I sent, I have 2nd plan (visa letter of Invitation).
