(-) Capadoccia tour was for 3 days; 2 days would have been adequate. (-) 3rd day in Capadoccia set aside as free day, but not required – it was a waste of time, more so because check-out from hotel had to be done early in the day, and then had to kill time for rest of the day outdoors. This could have been better organized. (-) Too many visits (some repeated by different tour guides) to handicrafts sales centres where excessive time was spent, and sales tactics from aggressive salespersons was annoying.Show more

This was a wonderful way to get to know more regional areas outside of Turkey. The balance of 3 days in Cappadocia, 1 day Pamakule and 1 day Ephesus was great. Cappadocia and Ephesus werr incredible. Pamakule is quite damaged as a site- it is polluted from being overrun by tourism. The way it works is that your own booking links up to other groups, so youre not on a tour with the same people all the time. It is that your own tour booking overlaps and links up with other groups. Which is fine. I appreciate the organiser had to do much coordination to make it work. Considering what we paid, this was a good thing. The quality of the hotels and food was great also. The sites in Cappadocia were truely fascinating and incredible- the fairy chimneys and underground cities were wow! The first day our shuttle bus was late to take us to our tour and we missed some. The tours involve going to shops to buy things which was not fun. The overnight bus from Goreme to Pamakule was exhausting and uncomfortable. There is alot of in between travel that adds many extra hours. Request to stay in Goreme rather than Urgup is better as Goreme is more lively and where all the action is. The tours are very cheap at each site to book yourself, as are flights and so on. But going through the tour group made it easier.Show more

  There is no flight from Istanbul to Fethiye. You can flight from Istanbul to Dalaman Airport for Fethiye. Then you need transfer from airport to Fethiye (transfer cost 90 euro 1way). Flight cost staring from 60 euro to 95 euro 1way 1person. Domestic flights include baggage allowance is 15kg +8kg hand bag.

  For clarification regarding the flight on Day 5 of the tour - can I fly from Ephesus (Izmir airport) to Fethiye. If it's not possible to fly, is there another way to get from Ephesus to Fethiye?

  There is no flight form Izmir to Fethiye. Day 5, Ends of the Epheus Tour, I will arrange transfer to bus station and evening bus to Fethiye. Upon your arrival to Fethiye bus station one of driver will pickup you and drop you your hotel in Fethiye area. It will extra cost 140 euro going to Fethiye instead of flying to Istanbul. (You will get to Fethiye late night 23:55 - 01:00 approximately)
