- IRIsarael· August 14th, 2025Be aware! for this tour you will have to rent a car on your own. I didn't know until I arrived to the hotel. When I bought the tour, I didn't notice the 'self drive' note at the end of the title, and on adventure type states 'group adventure'. When I got there, and tour guide explained to me about the car, I made a car reservation online to move on with tour. I was not able to get the car because I needed an International driver permit. I didn't know about this, neither did the tour guide. At the end, they accommodate us by train. It was not bad at all. It would've been better if the company had notified us in advance of the car rental and the international permit. The tour overall was nice.
