    How big is the tour group on the Premium Costa Rica tour? And what type of transportation is used to go between locations?

      The group has a max size of 12 passengers. This trip includes time spent travelling in a private vehicle (think mini coach bus) with your group. It's all part of the adventure and a great way to get to know your fellow travellers. You will make stops at interesting locations to break up the longer drives. There are only 4 spaces left for our January 7, 2023 departure on a request basis only.

      Meals included: 8 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners. For meals not included you will be able to visit local markets, cafes or restaurants. Your local leader will be able to make recommendations based on dietary restrictions. Fruits and vegetables will be widely available so finding suitable vegetarian meals should not be a problem.

    • For any tour departing before October 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Premium. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 56 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Premium will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
