You'll arrive in Glasgow and check into your accommodation in this vibrant city. There's a welcome meeting at 6 pm where you'll meet your trip leader and fellow travelers. If you get there early, walk along the River Clyde or head to Merchant City to browse shops and grab dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Glasgow to Fort William
Catch an early train from Glasgow on the West Highland Line, traveling through dramatic Scottish landscapes. You'll arrive in Fort William by early afternoon. After settling in, there's an optional leader-led hike up Cow Hill in Glen Nevis if the weather cooperates, or you can wander around town and pop into local pubs instead.

- Day 3
Fort William - Glenfinnan - Isle of Skye
Board a train that takes you through Glenfinnan Viaduct (you might recognize it from Harry Potter) and continues to the coastal village of Mallaig. From there, catch a ferry across to the Isle of Skye. A private transfer brings you to a local whiskey distillery where you'll get a tour and tasting. Back at your accommodation, you can relax or join the group leader for an optional evening dram.

- Day 4
Isle of Skye
Start with a guided morning hike where you might spot otters or seals in their natural habitat. Then hop on a private bus to explore Skye's dramatic scenery, heading around the Trotternish Peninsula. You'll see the Quiraing, the Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock with its waterfalls. There's time to check out a local gallery or museum, and possibly Dunvegan Castle before heading back to your accommodation late in the afternoon.

Isle of Skye to Inverness
Leave the Isle of Skye by private bus, crossing the Skye Bridge back to the mainland. You'll travel through scenic landscapes toward Fort Augustus, a small village on the southern tip of Loch Ness. Take a scenic boat cruise on the loch to search for the famous monster, then continue north to Inverness. You'll be staying here for two nights.

- Day 6
Inverness
Take a local bus to Culloden Battlefield, where Bonnie Prince Charlie's Jacobite rebellion came to an end in 1746. Walk the battlefield grounds, which still carry a quiet, solemn feeling. Back in Inverness city centre, take a scenic walk along the River Ness and cross a pedestrian suspension bridge. The rest of the day is yours to explore Inverness Castle, pop into a whisky shop, catch some live music, do some shopping, or find your way to Leakey's bookshop.

Inverness to Edinburgh
Catch a morning train from Inverness to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. Drop your bags at your accommodation, then join a guided walking tour led by someone with lived experience of homelessness, who'll share unique perspectives on the city's Old and New Towns. Afterward, the rest of the day is free. Walk through the winding cobbled streets, visit bars, check out attractions, or browse the designer shops in the city centre.
