Yes, we can add an extra night in Manuel Antonio. The cost will depend on the tour category you select. Regarding transportation, it is included in the program; however, it is very important that your return flight departs around 5:00 PM or later. Please note that most hotels offer rooms with two double beds, so unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a room with three separate beds.

Is there a luggage size restriction for the tours?

While there are no strict luggage size limits, please be aware that assistance in moving luggage may be required at times.

What a wonderful trip!!! Costa Rica is a lovely country with spectacular landscape, an abundance of animals and friendly people. I was so impressed with Tour Radar and Destination Services. From the moment I signed up for the trip, any time I called with a question or concern I talked to a real person who was able to answer all my questions. If I sent an email, I got a reply within 24 hours. Every facet of the trip went according to plans without any unforeseen incidents. Transportation from each location was always on time (down to the minute!!), hotels were extraordinarily nice, the food was delicious and aplenty, included excursions were varied and fun and there was leisure time to explore on your own. I highly recommend taking a trip with this tour group. I will definitely book another tour with them in the future. I really enjoyed this tour! The tour guides were all fantastic and the transports etc. were well organised and on time. The hotels we stayed at were great, much nicer than usual for most organised tours. My favourite part was probably the stay in Tortuguero. The lodge was lovely and the national park is beautiful! Definitely recommend the optional early morning boat tour, even if it does mean a very early start! However, the other locations were also great and there are lots of fun activities to do and beautiful places and animals to see! If you have any questions or problems before or during your tour, the customer service team at Destination Services Costa Rica is very helpful and quick to respond. There are a couple of things to consider when booking this tour. If you have previously taken part in tours by other providers, you may be used to being in a set group with one guide who leads the tour. This is not the case here. With the exception of the Tortuguero section, there is no set tour guide. You will be on small transports which pick you up at your hotels and there are only guides for each activity. Other than that you are on your own and getting around independently. You will often be with a lot of the same people who have also booked the tour, but they may join/leave the tour for different sections. If you are a confident traveller this is no problem, as everything is very well organised and the customer service team is very helpful. The second thing to keep in mind is that there are a few days with no planned activities. I recommend looking at these in advance and having an idea of what you would like to do. Activities can be booked pretty last minute, and most hotels have booking services, but it helps to at least have a vague plan.Show more

  For the double room, we would like to request 2 single beds for all rooms where possible. Please can I enquire the cost of adding 2 nights in Manuel Antonio (checking out on Wed 4 March) the rooms would be the same, 1 double and 1 single (3 people total). Also would like to confirm we would be okay to have transport back to San Jose on Wed 4 March - noted about the flight time, that is okay for us.

  Each tour is around 3 hours. All tours include pickup and drop off from hotel lobby. Hot springs on arrival day, Mistico Hanging Bridges or Waterfall after Arenal hike, Zipline and Treetop Walkway in Monteverde, Coffee Tour as alternative, Night Walk and Catamaran as options in Manuel Antonio.
