  The Cambodia segment was really great as was Proney, our guide for that segment. Enjoyed challenging myself on the various stairs and seeing the temples and ruins. Overall I wished we had more free time to shop and experience all the locations more fully. Biggest issue in Vietnam was not being aware of the lack of toilet paper or sanitation facilities available. This could have been avoided if the guide had told us on night 1 to be prepared with tissue paper, soap, wipes, etc. It was not funny and the joke about men being able to go anywhere when the tour was predominantly female was lacking in taste. Also our Cambodian guide always had tissues, wet wipes available so I felt this could have been prepared during the Vietnam portion where it was actually needed most. We had a few menstruation-age women and there’s no reason to expect them to be able to “hold” their need to use a sanitary restroom. Or for them to know and anticipate what to expect when the stops were planned by the tour operator. They should have incorporated known, clean, and operating restrooms in the plan. Most of the hotels were really nice and the included breakfasts were always good. Hotels were always conveniently located near attractions. Wished we had more than the evenings to experience and explore on our own. Some people even chose to forego certain portions of the planned tour to see other things, which indicates a need for more daytime freetime and perhaps a longer tour.Show more

  In Vietnam we felt constantly rushed during activities, tour guide was unmotivated. In Cambodia tour guide was much better but at times failed to read the mood of group and when to stop talking. Hotels and transport were great. Would have preferred more daytime free time.Show more

  Thanks to the organisation, prompt and attentive guides, hotel service and all the wonderful people involved, our tour was a dream from start to finish. We had the best time as we felt entirely safe in the expert charge of our professional guides and drivers. The facilities were consistently exceptional and beyond our expectations. We feel we won ‘the golden ticket’, getting the ‘special treatment’ as our guides went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable, well advised, entertained, always on time and even went so far as to organise special visits, tuk tuks, dinner reservations etc. We got the ‘Royal’ treatment and can’t thank you enough for our wonderful ‘trip of a lifetime’ from Ho Chi Minh City (with love) all the way to SiemReap in CambodiaShow more
