This tour is in our 18-Thirtysomething Travel Style, which means there is quite a bit of free time, so you can choose how you spend your time. This means there would be time to work when you have free time.

Is the tour guaranteed to proceed regardless of the number of bookings?

The tour will proceed as long as the minimum group size is met. If the minimum is not reached, you will be notified about alternative options.

Do I need a visa for Vietnam if my stay is exactly 15 days?

If traveling with a German passport, you do not need a visa for Vietnam if your stay is 15 days or less.

What accommodations are used for specific days of the tour?

Can I know in advance who my room will be shared with?

Room assignments are usually finalized closer to the departure date. You can request specific roommates if you are booking together, subject to confirmation.

Do I need any specific documents for traveling?

Ensure you have all necessary travel documents, including visas if required, and check that your passport is up to date with all necessary entry and exit stamps.

How strict is the age range? One of the tours that I am interested in states 18 to 39 year olds. Why? I am 64 but I bet that I am just as fit as many people half my age.

Our age ranges are nothing to do with fitness, they are in place because we had alot of feedback from younger travellers who told us they wished to have a tour where they were travelling with like minded first time passengers around the same age as them, so we created our 18-39 travel style. These tours also have large dorm accommodation, and we don't offer private rooms. We have lots of other travel styles for all ages including our Classic tours, National Geographic Journeys, Wellness tours and Active.

What are the general age ranges on the Thailand & Vietnam: Mountains & Coastlines 21 day tour? I see it says 18-39 but what is the average? Im within the age range, im 25, but i just wanted to know if they are mostly around the same age or are they all closer to the 39 age range

All departures can be different but I would say these trips have an age group of between 20-30 years old

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 1st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 1st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
