Itinerary
- Day 1
Muscat
You'll land at Muscat International Airport where your MTA chauffeur meets you for the drive to your hotel. Once you've checked in and settled into your room, the rest of the day is yours to relax and get ready for the tour ahead.

- Day 2
Muscat
After breakfast, you'll walk through Muscat's key sights starting with the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, then head to Bait Al Zubair Museum to see traditional Omani pieces and artifacts. The Al Alam Palace sits between two old Portuguese forts and makes for good photos. By evening, you'll browse through Muttrah Souq where local vendors sell handicrafts and silver items before heading back to rest.

- Day 3
Nizwa
Following breakfast, you'll drive about 170 km inland to Nizwa, which served as Oman's cultural heart for centuries. Jabrin Castle is your main stop there, known for its detailed 17th-century plasterwork and hand-painted wooden ceilings inside. You'll pass by Bahla Fort on the way (currently closed for work but still looks impressive from outside), and you can check out the local pottery shops in the area before settling into your hotel.

- Day 4
Jebel Shams
You'll start with breakfast at the hotel, then visit a historic fort with a distinctive round cannon tower and traditional market. From there, you'll head to Al Hamra and Misfah, two villages that are over 400 years old with original mud architecture and traditional falaj water systems (UNESCO recognized). Later in the day, you'll drive through more remote areas like Wadi Gul and Wadi Nakhar before climbing up to Jebel Shams for your overnight stay at the resort overlooking the Grand Canyon of Oman.

- Day 5
Wahiba Sands
The drive takes you toward Wahiba Sands with a stop at Birkat Al Mauz, a traditional settlement with ancient ruins and green plantations fed by the famous falaj system. You'll pass through Ibra, one of Oman's oldest towns with significant trading history. After arriving at Wahiba Sands around 3:30 PM, you'll get time on the red and white dunes, experience dune driving, watch the sun drop below the horizon, and end the day with a BBQ dinner at your camp.

- Day 6
Sur
After breakfast at camp, you'll spend a couple hours at Wadi Bani Khalid between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm swimming in the clear blue pools there. Then you'll drive east to Sur, known for building traditional dhows (sailing ships) for centuries as part of Oman's sea history. Early dinner happens before heading to Ras Al Jinz turtle sanctuary to see green turtles come ashore at night after traveling thousands of kilometers from feeding grounds. You'll stay overnight in nearby Ras Al Hadd.

Muscat
After breakfast, you'll make a brief photo stop at Bibi Miriam's Tomb ruins in the coastal village of Qalhat. The main attraction is Bimah Sinkhole, a dramatic limestone crater with blue-green water that's really striking to see. On clear days, you might spot sharks in the deep water or gazelles on the surrounding landscape. The drive along the coast takes you back to Muscat, where you'll spend your final night.
