Kolkata
Your representative meets you at Kolkata airport and handles your transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and relax however you'd like.

- Day 2
Kolkata to Dibrugarh
After breakfast and checking out, you'll head to the airport for your flight to Dibrugarh. Once you land and reach your hotel, the late afternoon brings a visit to a tea estate where you can watch how tea gets grown, picked, and sorted. By evening, you'll catch a traditional Assam folk dance performance.

Dibrugarh
Today you drive to the village of Namphake near Naharkatiya. You'll visit a local monastery and spend time with the Tai Phake tribal community who follow ancient Buddhist traditions. There's also a chance to walk through traditional bamboo stilt houses and see hand-woven clothes and bags made by local craftspeople.

Dibrugarh to Jorhat
After breakfast and checkout, you'll drive toward Jorhat with a stop at the temples of Sivasagar along the way. These temples date back 600 years to the Ahom dynasty, and you can explore the palace and monument ruins scattered throughout this historical town. The rest of the day is free for whatever interests you.

Jorhat to Majuli
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Nimatighat to catch a ferry across to Majuli, one of the world's largest inhabited river islands. There you'll check out Vaishnavite monasteries and connect with local tribal communities before heading back to the mainland by ferry. The afternoon and evening are at your leisure.

Jorhat to Kaziranga
After breakfast and checkout, you drive to Kaziranga National Park and get settled at your hotel. You'll have the rest of the day free to relax and prepare for the wildlife activities ahead.

Kaziranga
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris take you through Kaziranga's central range where you can see herds of Indian elephants and one-horned rhinos in their natural habitat. If you're interested, there's an optional evening visit to the Kaziranga Biodiversity Centre to learn about local orchid conservation and culture.

Kaziranga
You'll start early with a jeep or elephant-back safari to explore Kaziranga's wildlife. The park holds about 15 species of India's endangered mammals, including the world's largest population of Indian rhinoceros and elephants, plus wild Asian water buffalo, swamp deer, langurs, gibbons, tigers, and leopards. Back at the hotel you can freshen up before an afternoon safari with photography opportunities.

Kaziranga to Nameri
After breakfast and checkout, you'll head to Tezpur to see the Mahabhairab temple, which houses one of the world's biggest and oldest Shivalingas. From there you continue to Nameri National Park, known for its bird populations. You'll take a short jungle walk before checking into your hotel.

Nameri
Nameri National Park is a paradise for bird watchers with over 300 bird species to spot. You can look for endangered species like white-winged wood ducks, hornbills, blue-bearded bee-eaters, and various other birds during morning bird watching and trekking. The afternoon brings white-water rafting on the Bhoreli River, and the rest of your day is free.

Nameri to Shillong
You'll spend the full day driving to Shillong, a hill station surrounded by tall pine trees, pineapple plants, and heather-covered hills. Once you arrive, you'll check in and settle at your hotel.

Shillong
After breakfast, a full-day tour takes you to the region's highlights. You'll see Mawlynnong village and its living root bridge made from Indian rubber tree roots, then head to the Umngot river at Dawki on the Bangladesh border for its clear water. The Mawsum village cave is also on the itinerary before you return to your hotel.

Shillong
A full-day excursion takes you to Jowai, a village with monoliths and remnants from the Jaintia kingdom. You'll visit the summer palace of the Jaintia kings and the Durga temple, plus see the world's largest collection of monolith stones before heading back to Shillong. The evening is free for leisure.

Shillong to Guwahati
After breakfast and checkout, you'll drive toward Guwahati with several stops along the way. You'll visit Kamakhya temple, the weaving village of Sualkuchi where traditional bamboo looms produce fine silk, and Hajo, an ancient pilgrimage site. Upon reaching Guwahati, you'll check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day to yourself.
