Just came back to the US after our 4 day luxury golden triangle tour. The 3 of us had a wonderful time on this fast paced trip. Our itinerary was customized for our specific time requests to maximize our availability. We would especially like to highlight our incredible driver Mr. Kailasi for not only his skill at navigating in and between cities, but his ever present smile and impeccable hospitality. Due to the intensity of our trip, we spent a lot of time in the car and were completely comfortable at all times. His patience and pleasant demeanor really made the trip! We had 4 different tour guides, whom are independent contractors hired for the day. Aman in Delhi was friendly and a phenomenal photographer, Nik in Agra was an expert on the Taj Mahal, Abdul at Fatehpur Sikri was good, and Manouj in Japiur was incredible at highlighting the amazing city. We would like to specifically highlight Manouj for his honesty and Aman for being so personable. Hotels were good to great for 5 star by India standards. Included breakfasts kept us fueled for our nonstop movement days. Our only critique of this trip was being brought to tourist markets by 3 of the 4 guides. Each guide stated they "knew a place to see authentic (insert what art/craft city is known for) goods" and brought us to a marketplace. A well spoken salesmen would bring us to an art/craft demonstration and then have us look at their wares across several floors. They could be a bit pushy and this ate up a lot of time, 30-45mins+ including drive time when we were did not really have any time to spare. These shops sold goods that are available everywhere in India but at inflated prices. A quick Google search alleges tour guides receive either a flat fee for any tourists they bring in or a kickback on items sold. Another search alleges the marble marketplace we were brought to in Agra has some authentic items in person but when shipping purchases to customers sends cheap knockoffs. Something to be aware of. Aside from wasting our precious time at these tourist markets, our trip was fantastic. We would like to thank Raj Tours and Travels and would recommend them to anyone with the caveat to be firm in declining to go to any markets. Thanks!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Raj Tour & Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
