I would like to ask how much free time we will have once we get to Humantay Lake? Will I have time to walk up the ridge to enjoy the scenery from above as well, like some of your pictures suggest? High elevation will be no problem, since I plan this hike at the end of my Peru visit.

Jonathan, our guide, was super helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, and provided valuable insights into the history and culture of this amazing country. There are just a few areas where the tour company could improve communication. For example, it was not clear before booking that luggage would not automatically be transported between hotels and that additional arrangements and costs might be required. Jonathan helped organize this for us. On previous tours, I was used to having a dedicated bus for the group during the tour. I had no issue with the arrangements used on this tour or the additional costs involved, but I would have preferred to know this before booking. We were told this would be explained during the briefing, but due to exceptional circumstances, the briefing took place by phone on the first day. Overall, it was a great and enjoyable trip.Show more
