Hi Lesley, Thank you for providing feedback. We leave Blarney Castle as an optional excursion as a lot of clients opt out of doing it. We do note that it is optional but we will make sure it is highlighted better on future departures. Again thank you, we are glad to hear you had a great time. We are always trying to better our tours and feedback like this is very helpful and will get passed along to our team in Dublin. All the best, RIT

    Asked on March 28th, 2025

Is this suitable for my husband who needs a mobility scooter?

    Tour Details
    Travel Support
    • Royal Irish ToursOperatorWritten March 2025

Mobility scooters can be heavy. So, for Health & Safety Reasons, neither our Tour Manager / Driver nor other passengers can lift the mobility scooter into the luggage compartment. The Mobility Scooter must be assembled and disassembled by the companion / carer. Everyone needs to be able to get on and off the coach on their own, the driver and tour manager are not able to assist with this. We would need the dimensions and exact make of the scooter to look into it further to see if we could accommodate it on the tour.

  • A

    Alan

    Asked on February 14th, 2024

Does RIT offer transfers to & from the airport? If not how do we get to the hotel on arrival? Can we opt to stay an extra night in Dublin at the end of the tour in August & at what ost?

    Accommodation
    Flights / Transfers
    • Royal Irish ToursOperatorWritten February 2024

We can offer a private transfer to and from the Dublin airport, however we would recommend taking a taxi as it is much more cost effective. A taxi would cost about Euro 30.00 each way and should take about 25 - 30 minutes. The rate for a pre and post night at the Gresham would depend on the exact date and would be approximately $450 per night. The pre & post nights are on request and rates are subject to change and availability.
