  Leaving Colombo and reaching so many interesting places within two days made this a memorable little adventure. The southern coastline was beautiful, and the different stops kept the journey interesting from start to finish. Kosgoda offered an opportunity to learn about sea turtle conservation, while the Madu River cruise brought a peaceful change of pace. Galle Fort was full of character, particularly around the lighthouse and old town. The private driver was punctual, friendly and helpful, and the vehicle provided a comfortable way to cover the route. Yala was saved for the final part, which worked perfectly because the safari added an exciting wildlife experience before returning to Colombo. A short itinerary, but plenty of memorable moments along the way.Show more

  The highlight of the second day was definitely getting out into the natural surroundings of Yala National Park. After spending the first day exploring the southern coast and historic Galle, the safari provided a refreshing change of scenery. The route also included the Kosgoda turtle project and a Madu River boat ride, both of which added something different to the experience. Galle Fort was another memorable stop, especially for anyone interested in history and architecture. Private transport made the whole route considerably more convenient, and the driver was friendly and reliable. The hotel stay and included meals suited the short schedule well. Lanka Safe Tours created a straightforward itinerary that combined coastal sights, local culture and wildlife without making the trip feel unnecessarily complicated.Show more

  Galle Fort was easily one of the highlights of this short Sri Lankan getaway. Walking through the old streets and seeing the lighthouse, historic buildings and ocean views gave the day a completely different atmosphere. Earlier stops at the turtle conservation project and Madu River added some lovely variety. The boat ride was calm and scenic, especially with the greenery along the river. Having a private driver made the busy first day much easier because several places were covered without worrying about transport. The vehicle was comfortable, and the driver handled the route well. The Yala safari on the following day brought an exciting wildlife element to the journey. For only two days, the itinerary offered a surprisingly good range of experiences.Show more

The turtle conservation project was informative, while the Madu River cruise offered beautiful scenery and a peaceful break from the road. Galle Fort was the standout cultural experience, with plenty of interesting architecture and ocean views to explore. The visit to Koggala added a glimpse of traditional fishing life before continuing toward Yala. The following safari brought a completely different atmosphere, surrounded by natural landscapes and wildlife. Having a private driver throughout the journey made the trip much easier, especially with several destinations packed into two days. The accommodation and meals were also convenient. Visiting the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project was meaningful, while the Madu River boat ride was relaxing and scenic. Galle Fort was probably the place that left the strongest impression, with its historic atmosphere and beautiful location beside the sea. The stop at Koggala to see the traditional fishing style was also interesting. After reaching Yala, the second day started with the safari, which brought an entirely different experience. Seeing the park landscape from a safari vehicle was exciting and gave the trip a real sense of adventure. Galle Fort was fascinating, especially the mixture of old architecture, narrow streets and views across the Indian Ocean. Before reaching Galle, the Kosgoda turtle project offered an interesting opportunity to learn about sea turtle conservation, while the Madu River boat trip brought some peaceful moments surrounded by mangroves and waterways. The visit to Koggala to see the traditional stilt fishermen added another authentic touch. Our guide Dinesh was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, making the journey comfortable and enjoyable. After the coastal sightseeing, reaching Yala felt like entering a completely different environment. The national park safari was the big adventure of the trip, with wildlife and beautiful scenery throughout the drive. Private transportation made the whole route much more comfortable, and the accommodation provided a pleasant place to rest between activities.Show more

The Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project was a particularly nice stop, and the boat ride through the Madu River wetlands offered a completely different view of the countryside. Galle Fort was probably the highlight for me, with its old streets, lighthouse, historic buildings and ocean views. Seeing the traditional stilt fishermen around Koggala was another interesting experience. The private vehicle made moving between all the stops comfortable, especially with several places to visit in one day. Our driver was friendly, professional and very helpful with the day's arrangements. The accommodation was comfortable, and the half-board option was convenient after spending most of the day sightseeing. The Yala safari was especially memorable and gave the trip an exciting finish. We also liked that the itinerary included different types of experiences rather than focusing on only one attraction. Galle Fort was a favorite because of its historic buildings, atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. We also enjoyed the turtle conservation visit and the scenery along the coast. Our driver was polite, helpful and professional, while the vehicle was clean and comfortable. The accommodation was good, and having breakfast and dinner included saved us the trouble of making extra arrangements. The Yala safari added an exciting wildlife experience to the trip. Starting from Colombo, we travelled through beautiful coastal areas, visited Galle and continued toward Yala. The private driver was excellent and made the journey easy from start to finish. We appreciated his punctuality, friendly attitude and willingness to help. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, which was important during the longer drives. Our accommodation was pleasant, and having half-board meals included made the trip feel very convenient. The safari in Yala was the most exciting part, but Galle Fort and the coastal stops added plenty of variety. For a two-day trip, the organization and overall experience were excellent.Show more
