  The changing landscapes throughout the journey were something I’ll remember for a long time. One day we were exploring ancient ruins, then suddenly the landscape changed to green hills and tea plantations around Nuwara Eliya. Ella brought more spectacular mountain views before the journey continued toward Yala and the southern beaches. Having a private vehicle meant there was plenty of flexibility during the drives, especially when a beautiful viewpoint appeared and a photo stop was tempting. The driver was friendly and accommodating throughout the journey. The hotels provided comfortable places to rest after sightseeing, while breakfast and dinner being included made the daily routine very easy. Lanka Safe Tours put together an itinerary that allowed us to experience history, culture, nature and coastal scenery within 12 days without making the journey feel unnecessarily complicated.Show more

  Every few days seemed to bring a completely different side of Sri Lanka. The ancient sites in Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Sigiriya was one of those places that is even more impressive in person. Kandy added culture and history, followed by the cooler climate and tea country around Nuwara Eliya. Ella was another favorite because of the beautiful scenery. The wildlife portion around Yala added a completely different experience before the final days on the southern coast. The private vehicle was comfortable and made the longer journeys much easier. The driver was helpful and respectful, and the accommodations were suitable for the itinerary. The half-board arrangement was also practical after full days of exploring. Lanka Safe Tours made a fairly extensive route feel straightforward and enjoyable from beginning to end.Show more

  Not having to think about transport each day made the holiday feel relaxed and stress-free. Having the same private vehicle and driver throughout made the journey comfortable and well organized. We enjoyed historic Buddhist sites, temples, mountains, tea estates, wildlife and beautiful beaches. Sigiriya and Ella were personal highlights, though every destination offered something special. Our tour guide, Sachintha, was excellent friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and always attentive to our needs. His helpful recommendations and warm personality made every sightseeing experience more enjoyable.   Sri Lanka turned out to be far more diverse than expected, and twelve days was a great amount of time to experience it properly. The ancient sites around Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Sigiriya and Dambulla added even more history to the journey. Kandy brought a completely different atmosphere with the Temple of the Tooth and cultural show. The mountain scenery around Nuwara Eliya and Ella was probably the biggest visual highlight, especially the tea plantations and waterfalls. Wildlife around Minneriya and Yala added an exciting side to the trip. Having a private driver made the long journeys much easier, and the vehicle was comfortable throughout. The hotels were pleasant, and breakfast and dinner included in the package made everything very convenient. Overall, a wonderfully varied Sri Lankan experience.Show more

  The mountain section of the journey was probably the part that stayed in my mind longest. Leaving Kandy and heading toward Nuwara Eliya brought beautiful scenery, tea plantations, waterfalls and much cooler weather. Ella was another highlight, with incredible views around Little Adam’s Peak and the famous Nine Arch Bridge. Before reaching the hills, the historical sites in Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya provided a fascinating look at Sri Lanka’s past. Later, the wildlife experiences around Minneriya and Yala added something completely different. The itinerary managed to combine culture, nature, wildlife and scenic areas very naturally. Having a private driver was especially useful because there were quite a few long road journeys. The vehicle was comfortable, and the half-board accommodation meant there was always a meal waiting after a busy day.Show more

The ancient ruins in Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa gave the trip a strong historical beginning, while Minneriya introduced the wildlife side of Sri Lanka. Sigiriya was easily one of the standout experiences, with spectacular views from the rock fortress. Kandy offered beautiful temples and local culture before the route moved into the cooler hills of Nuwara Eliya. Tea gardens, Ramboda Falls and Gregory Lake were lovely stops along the way. Ella brought even more scenic beauty, particularly around Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. The private driver made everything much simpler, and the vehicle remained comfortable during long journeys. The half-board accommodation was also convenient after full days of sightseeing.Show more

The ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were impressive, especially for anyone interested in history and architecture. Sigiriya was another unforgettable stop, followed by the cultural atmosphere of Kandy. Nuwara Eliya brought cooler weather, green tea estates and beautiful mountain scenery, while Ella was perfect for enjoying the landscapes around Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. The wildlife experiences added another dimension to the holiday. Having a private vehicle and driver was a major advantage, particularly during the longer drives.   Sri Lanka has so much natural beauty and cultural heritage, and this tour allowed us to experience a little bit of everything. We loved travelling through different parts of the island and seeing how dramatically the scenery changed from one region to another. The private vehicle was a major benefit, especially on the longer travel days. It was clean, comfortable and always ready when we needed it. Our driver was professional and friendly, and his local knowledge made the journey more enjoyable. The accommodation throughout the trip was comfortable, while the half-board arrangement made the evenings much easier after busy days of sightseeing. We enjoyed visiting historical places, seeing wildlife and spending time around the beautiful southern coast. The itinerary gave us a good combination of exploration and relaxation.   We came to Sri Lanka hoping for a relaxing holiday with plenty of sightseeing, and this tour delivered exactly that. Over 12 days, we were able to see historical attractions, beautiful countryside, mountains, wildlife and coastal scenery. The private driver made moving between destinations simple and comfortable. We never had to worry about finding transportation, and the vehicle was clean and spacious throughout the journey. Our driver was friendly and professional, and we appreciated his patience whenever we wanted to stop for photos. The accommodations were comfortable and the half-board option worked very well for us. Some days were busy with sightseeing, while others allowed us more time to enjoy the surroundings. That balance made the trip feel enjoyable rather than exhausting. Looking back, the variety of experiences was probably our favorite part. Sri Lanka truly exceeded our expectations.Show more

We could enjoy the beautiful Sri Lankan scenery along the way instead of worrying about travel arrangements. The vehicle was consistently clean and comfortable, and our driver was punctual, respectful and helpful. The itinerary included a very enjoyable mixture of cultural attractions, scenic locations, wildlife experiences and coastal areas. We also found the hotels comfortable and appreciated having breakfast and dinner included in the package. After spending the day exploring, returning to the hotel for a good meal was very convenient.
