All the other hotels were either homestay-type properties in fields or in remote suburban areas with very inconvenient transportation. The value for money was extremely low. The itinerary was also filled with so-called “workshops,” which were essentially shopping stops that cost hours of time and were designed to make travelers spend. Although we did tip both the India and Sri Lanka drivers generously at the end, in India the tipping felt strongly pressured and uncomfortable — especially when the suggested daily tipping was higher than an average day’s wage. If a tour is advertised as private and inclusive, there should not be so many additional side costs and expectations. By contrast, the Sri Lanka segment was a true 5-star private experience — smooth, transparent, professional, and genuinely enjoyable.Show moreTrip date: December 2025

The guides were great and very knowledgeable about the history. My suggestion would be to spend less time at the market we went in Delhi on the first place. We had no place there and felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time- definitely didn’t need to spend hours there. Also, the tour company needs to be less pushy with requesting reviews. We felt pressured and their sense of timing was poor. - Sarah· December 16th, 2024The driver was fantastic. Each guide was great. The hotels were really iffy. Sometimes okay, sometimes not nice!! One hotel was so stuffy, and the other had loads of facilities that werent working. It really put a dampner on the stay. The thing i found tricky was that the guide was different in each location. This meant that we were getting repeated information each time (states in india, religions, languages, common customs) which was exhaustingly repetitive.
