I expected so much more... the way up to the harbor was well organized (the way back was on free shuttle...but also...
I expected so much more... the way up to the harbor was well organized (the way back was on free shuttle...but also alright), the driver (Dicky - very nice guy!) came exactly on time to my hotel. Unfortunatelly I was the only person on this tour. So when I arrived at 12pm on Gili Air, my "island guide" was waiting for me, showed me the way to the bungalow and told me to rest until the bike ride at 4pm. Because I didn't need any rest I went to discover the island by myself. Shortly after 4pm he came with two bikes and we did a ride (half the way you needed to push the bike by feet) just all the way along the beach, in a circle around the island. Altough the guide was so friendly and nice, I could have done that by myself bc he wasnt explaining anything. Afterwards he told me to find him at the office when Im ready for dinner. When we went to the place theyve chosen for this one dinner included, he was waiting until they handed me the menu, left me the cash and whished me a goodnight. Which I hadnt, because in the bungalow room you could hear everything, also the very annoying party music until 4am. Next day snorkeling trip on a public boat/tour was alright, but afterwards there was nothing else planned so I decided to leave the trip earlier and go to gili trawangan by myself. I feel sorry for the guides to leave a bad review because they did their job (although they wheren't really entertaining... but if there where some other people on the tour, I'm sure it would have been better). But for that amount of money you could have done everything quite easy by yourself, stay in nicer accomodations, eat better food and even have more fun.Show more

Hi Linda, We are very sad and apologize about your recent experience with us. After reading your reviews, I tried to find data from our guide and accommodation related to the time of your tour to certain what is really happened. Regarding the shuttle bus it is not free its included on the ticket price, we normally use them to drop our customers based on their next destination hotel and mostly one and other guests in the group have a different destination around Bali Central area after the tour. Regarding the guide didn't explain much about the islands we apologize as Gili Air Island is a tiny island our local guide in the island is not for guiding and explain about culture and history like in our Bali tour with many story and culture to explain in the tour, our local guide in the island as a tour leader to explain what to do and organize for each day plan for the group however we will fix this issue to make our guide explain more about the island life, and about the bicycle tour starts after 4 pm we go in this particular time as its a good time for sunset on the finishing point which is west south side of the island near our office after the cycling, and Gili Air Island still under development in the north side so we can't ride there as the road mostly sand and dirt. And our other visitor sometimes needs a rest after the 4-5 hour car transportation and boat ride to Gili Air Island so our guide thinks you need a rest we sincerely apologize to make you discover the island by yourself. We are really sorry and do not mean to doubt your reviews, we use a particular best reviews restaurant on TripAdvisor for our dinner for the first night which is Mowies by The Beach for this tour and regarding the music at the room we have been informed that 23 Nov the night they have party couple blocks from the bungalow that goes until late we will prevent this issue for anyone again in the future, We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience our 3 Days Experience Gili Islands, we hope in the future we can provide better service to you. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
