Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll get picked up from central Delhi and head to your hotel to settle in. After freshening up, start your Delhi exploration with a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's busy streets. Stop at Kinari Bazar to see the wedding market colors, then visit the 400-year-old Jama Masjid. The Khari Baoli spice market comes next with its strong aromas everywhere, and you'll grab photos at the Red Fort. From there, head to Mahatma Gandhi's cremation site before moving to New Delhi. You'll see India Gate, Parliament House, and the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple. Wrap up with a walk and some shopping in New Delhi's center.

Dharamshala
Travel to Dharamshala, a hill station where you can take in mountain views and try adventure activities. Start at Dal Lake, then head to Naddi for more scenic vistas. You'll see Saint Church in the Wilderness and the War Memorial. Stop by the Dalai Lama's residence and temple, then check out Bhagsu Nath Temple and Gyuto Monastery. The Bhasunang Waterfall is on your route, and you'll also visit the Tibetan Museum. Later, browse the Tibetan market for shopping and souvenirs to bring home.

Dharamshala
Start the day at a famous cricket stadium, then drive to the Masrur rock-cut temple which is quite impressive up close. You'll stop to explore Bagla Mukhi Temple before heading to the historic Fort Kangra. The day ends at the sacred Bajreshwari Mata Temple.

- Day 4
Dharamshala
Travel to Bir Biling where you can try paragliding if that interests you. Visit Bejnath Temple, a beautiful Shiva temple situated by the river. You'll explore the Tashi Jong Buddhist Monastery, then stop at a tea factory and tea plantation in Kangra Valley. The day finishes at Jakhani Mata Temple.

- Day 5
Dharamshala to Dalhousie
Drive to Chamba for a full day of sightseeing. Check out the Bhuri Singh Museum and Akhand Chandi Palace. You'll visit several temples including Chamunda Mata, Champavati, Sui Mata, and Laxmi Narayana. See the Church of Scotland, Chamba Dam Viewpoint, Gandhi Gate, the Old Shitla Bridge, and Manjari Uddyan. Later, you'll head to Dalhousie for the night.

Dalhousie
Spend a relaxing day in Dalhousie, a colonial hill town in the Himalayas. The landscape here has valleys filled with pine and oak trees, rivers running through, nice orchards, and mountain views. Take time to see the British and Scottish architecture scattered around town and just soak in the calm atmosphere.

Dalhousie to Amritsar
Leave early from your homestay and travel to Amritsar. The main stop is the Wagah Border ceremony where you'll see the India-Pakistan border closure ritual happen. Check into your Amritsar hotel afterward for the night.

- Day 8
Amritsar
Explore Amritsar's main sites today. Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh shrine also called Harimandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib. Pay respects at Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial to the 1919 massacre. See Durgiana Temple with its large pond, then visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum in Ram Bagh where you'll see Mughal relics plus hand-drawn sketches and portraits of ruling Sikhs.
