  I really enjoyed the balance between sightseeing and slower moments on this tour. The historical attractions at Sigiriya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were impressive, but the natural scenery was equally memorable. Minneriya brought an exciting wildlife experience, while Kandy and Dambulla showed another side of Sri Lankan culture. Then came the mountain region, where Nuwara Eliya’s tea plantations and cooler climate made a lovely contrast to the earlier destinations. The journey by train to Ella was a particular favorite because the scenery kept changing throughout the ride. Later, there was time to relax around Mirissa before exploring Galle. Traveling with Lanka Safe Tours meant having a private vehicle for the longer routes, which made things comfortable. The whole journey felt well planned without becoming monotonous. Overall, Lanka Safe Tours made our Sri Lankan holiday comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. Their organization, transportation, and overall service contributed greatly to a wonderful travel experience. I would definitely recommend Lanka Safe Tours to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka.Show more

  Beautiful scenery seemed to appear around every corner. The first part of the journey was full of history, with Sigiriya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa offering something completely different from the beaches later on. Minneriya was another highlight because the safari gave us a chance to see elephants close to their natural environment. Kandy and Nuwara Eliya were both memorable for different reasons, and the train journey to Ella was fantastic. Lanka Safe Tours handled the private transportation smoothly, making the longer drives much easier. The final days in Mirissa and Galle were relaxing after the busy sightseeing. A very enjoyable way to discover Sri Lanka.Show more

  Some trips are mainly about one destination, but this one really felt like a journey through the whole country. The ancient sites around Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, and climbing Sigiriya gave some amazing views. Minneriya was a completely different experience, with the safari and elephants adding plenty of excitement. Kandy and Dambulla were great for understanding more about Sri Lankan culture, while Peradeniya offered a quieter change of pace. The mountain section was probably my favorite part. Nuwara Eliya was beautiful, especially the tea plantations, and the train ride to Ella was something I will remember for a long time. Lanka Safe Tours kept the transportation organized with a private driver and comfortable vehicle. Mirissa and Galle then provided a relaxing coastal finish. Such a varied holiday.Show more

The ancient sites at Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Sigiriya provided incredible scenery and a memorable climb. Minneriya was another highlight, with the safari giving us an exciting opportunity to see elephants. We enjoyed discovering Dambulla Cave Temple and the temples around Kandy, followed by the peaceful atmosphere of Peradeniya. Nuwara Eliya was completely different, with cool weather, tea-country scenery and beautiful mountain views. The train ride to Ella was a fantastic experience. Later, Mirissa and Galle gave us time to enjoy Sri Lanka’s coastal side. Having a private driver made the long journeys easy, and the accommodation and meals added plenty of comfort.Show more

Walking through the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa was fascinating, while climbing Sigiriya gave us an unforgettable view over the surrounding countryside. The Minneriya safari was a real highlight, particularly for the opportunity to see elephants. Dambulla Cave Temple was peaceful and impressive, and Kandy offered a wonderful cultural experience. The scenery changed dramatically around Nuwara Eliya, where the tea plantations looked beautiful against the hills. Taking the train to Ella was one of the most enjoyable experiences of the journey. We then had relaxing time around Mirissa before visiting Galle. Our driver was professional and helpful, and the private vehicle made the long routes comfortable. The hotels and included meals made the whole holiday easier.Show more

  Traveling through so many regions over thirteen days allowed us to see how diverse Sri Lanka really is. Ancient ruins, religious landmarks, wildlife parks, mountain landscapes and coastal towns were all part of the experience. Sigiriya was impressive from start to finish, while Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were full of fascinating history. The Minneriya safari was exciting and gave us memorable elephant sightings. Kandy was another favorite, especially the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and the surrounding atmosphere. Nuwara Eliya brought beautiful tea country, followed by an enjoyable train journey to Ella. We also appreciated the slower pace around Mirissa and the historic charm of Galle. Having a private driver meant we could relax between destinations, and the guide added useful information at the sightseeing stops. Overall, the itinerary was varied and enjoyable.Show more
