  A perfect mixture of sightseeing, nature, culture and relaxation made this thirteen-day tour very enjoyable. The ancient sites at Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Sigiriya provided incredible scenery and a memorable climb. Minneriya was another highlight, with the safari giving us an exciting opportunity to see elephants. We enjoyed discovering Dambulla Cave Temple and the temples around Kandy, followed by the peaceful atmosphere of Peradeniya. Nuwara Eliya was completely different, with cool weather, tea-country scenery and beautiful mountain views. The train ride to Ella was a fantastic experience. Later, Mirissa and Galle gave us time to enjoy Sri Lanka’s coastal side. Having a private driver made the long journeys easy, and the accommodation and meals added plenty of comfort.Show more

  Sri Lanka’s history, landscapes and wildlife all came together beautifully on this tour. Walking through the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa was fascinating, while climbing Sigiriya gave us an unforgettable view over the surrounding countryside. The Minneriya safari was a real highlight, particularly for the opportunity to see elephants. Dambulla Cave Temple was peaceful and impressive, and Kandy offered a wonderful cultural experience. The scenery changed dramatically around Nuwara Eliya, where the tea plantations looked beautiful against the hills. Taking the train to Ella was one of the most enjoyable experiences of the journey. We then had relaxing time around Mirissa before visiting Galle. Our driver was professional and helpful, and the private vehicle made the long routes comfortable. The hotels and included meals made the whole holiday easier.Show more

  Traveling through so many regions over thirteen days allowed us to see how diverse Sri Lanka really is. Ancient ruins, religious landmarks, wildlife parks, mountain landscapes and coastal towns were all part of the experience. Sigiriya was impressive from start to finish, while Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were full of fascinating history. The Minneriya safari was exciting and gave us memorable elephant sightings. Kandy was another favorite, especially the Temple of the Sacred Tooth and the surrounding atmosphere. Nuwara Eliya brought beautiful tea country, followed by an enjoyable train journey to Ella. We also appreciated the slower pace around Mirissa and the historic charm of Galle. Having a private driver meant we could relax between destinations, and the guide added useful information at the sightseeing stops. Overall, the itinerary was varied and enjoyable.Show more

  One of the best things about this itinerary was that it never felt like the same type of sightseeing every day. Historical exploration was followed by wildlife, then mountains, scenic train travel and finally the coast. Sigiriya was a fantastic experience, while the ruins at Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating. Watching elephants during the Minneriya safari added an exciting element to the journey. Dambulla and Kandy were full of cultural interest, and Nuwara Eliya was beautiful with its tea plantations and cooler climate. The train ride to Ella was especially enjoyable because we could simply watch the scenery change outside the window. Mirissa offered a relaxing break before discovering Galle. The private driver made transportation simple and comfortable, while the guide was informative and friendly. The overall organization made thirteen days pass very smoothly.Show more

  An unforgettable combination of history, wildlife, mountains and coastline made this thirteen-day Sri Lankan tour a wonderful experience. We explored ancient Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, climbed Sigiriya, and enjoyed the natural beauty of Minneriya National Park. Dambulla Cave Temple and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth gave us fascinating cultural experiences, while Peradeniya provided a quieter moment surrounded by greenery. Nuwara Eliya was beautiful, especially the tea plantations and mountain scenery, and the train ride to Ella was one of the most scenic parts of the trip. The days around Mirissa allowed us to relax before exploring historic Galle. Our private driver was helpful throughout the journey, and the guide added useful local knowledge.   Beautiful landscapes seemed to appear around every corner during this thirteen-day adventure. The historical areas of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa were fascinating, while Sigiriya offered both adventure and incredible scenery. We especially enjoyed the Minneriya safari because seeing elephants in the natural surroundings was unforgettable. Dambulla and Kandy provided wonderful cultural experiences, and Peradeniya was a lovely place to enjoy some peaceful time among the greenery. The mountain region around Nuwara Eliya was perhaps my favorite, with tea plantations stretching across the hills. The train ride to Ella made the journey even more special. Mirissa and Galle then brought a completely different coastal atmosphere. Our private driver was dependable and friendly, and the guide helped us understand the history and traditions behind the places we visited. It was a comfortable and memorable trip.Show more

  Exploring Sri Lanka for 13 days gave us enough time to appreciate much more than the usual tourist highlights. The ancient cities were fascinating, and Sigiriya was easily one of the most impressive sights. Minneriya added an exciting wildlife experience, while Dambulla and Kandy introduced us to beautiful temples and local traditions. Peradeniya was a peaceful stop surrounded by greenery. Moving into the highlands around Nuwara Eliya brought cooler weather and spectacular tea plantations. The train journey to Ella was another favorite because of the beautiful countryside views. Mirissa offered a relaxing coastal atmosphere, and Galle was a wonderful place to discover Sri Lanka’s historic side.   From my experience it was more a transport company than a tour company. Unfortunately not very one in Lanka Safe tours is a guide and can give tourist an understanding of the county. For a day of the trip I was fortunate to have Dinesh’s (The owner) brother show me around he was excellent. My “driver” for two weeks appeared to have a limited understanding and just showed me where the ticket office is for each site. On the positives he tour is flexible and itinerary is pretty good. Accommodation is generally comfortable too. If your looking for a transportation service I can recommended this, if your looking for a tour. And understanding more about the country , from my experience I can’t recommend this.Show more
