Aleyda· January 24th, 2026This was the most disorganized tour I have ever taken. It started when I made many phone calls and wrote asking for the the details of the first day. I only got a response after. flight to The Philippines. The excuse I got was that there was a holiday in Philippines and there was no one available until January 6th, which was the day I departed for the tour. Upon arriving to Manila's hotel we asked at what time we would be picked up to start the tour, the told us 1:30 p.m. We showed up early 12:45 for our 1:30 departure only to be told that we were supposed to be picked up at 10;00 a.m. The only option the three of us had was to take another flight to Boracay at the cost of $300 dollars.($100 per person). We are asking that this money be refunded to us. After that we had to ask every day at what time we would be picked up for airports and only be notified the night before the flight. And at the end the trip at Puerto Princesa we were told that the flight was cancelled because of wind, and if we wanted to catch our international flight to Japan we had to take a six hour van ride to Clark and after that, take another two to three hour ride on a van to get to Manila and pay 3000 pesos (!,000 pesos per person). This was the most uncomfortable ride for over ten hours. We had paid reservations at the Hyatt Hotel and we arrived at 2:00 a.m, We only had three hours rest at the Hotel in order to catch our flight. We ask that the extra money we spent be reimbursed to us. Please respond.Show more

CTPH TOUR commented on this reviewWe're so happy you had a great time on our 10 Days Philippine Tour package Emily! Thank you for your kind words and for trusting us with your travel experience. It was a pleasure having you, and we’d love to assist you again on your future travels.Trip date: September 2024- MSMark· August 5th, 2024This is a review of the 10 Day Philippine Tour. Strengths (1) The tour did a good job in visiting the best travel sites in the Philippines. (2) The hotels used were very good. Nice rooms with hot water, good bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Weakness (1) CPTH (tour provider) serves as your "travel agent" that books you on numerous independent vendor tours and airport transportation companies. All communication is through whatsapp (communication app). This means: If the independent vendor is good, you have a great time. If the independent vendor is bad, you have a poor time. *** For the most part, the independent vendors did a good job. However, we had some really poor vendors as well. *** For example, for the whale watching activity (The jewel of the trip -- and yes it was the best part of the trip). We were told to be ready at 2AM for an earlier morning pickup. We were ready, but the independent agency "forgot" to pick us up. So, we sat outside the hotel from 1:45 AM to 3:15 AM, all the time sending urgent pleas to CPTH to request the driver/guide pick us up. CPTH did answer your whatapps request for help and they did work to get their independent vendors to come and get us. We started our "best day" stressed sitting with the hotel security guard, worried you will miss the whale shark experience, one of the main reasons for selecting the tour package. I am thankful CPTH did come through at the end and got someone to take us to the whale sharks. Overall the transportation companies (airport to hotel, or hotel to hotel (El Nido) were ok. Keep in mind they will pack the max number of people and luggage in an most cases (More people = more money for driver/company). However, the trip to El Nido was completely unsatisfactory and dangerous. The bus driver even created a small extra wooden seat to jam in the small aisle. The bus that had a limit of 12 passengers, but was carrying 15 people at a time. A terrible long 5-6 hour trip from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. was extended to 8-9 hours, because the driver often pulled over at gas station or bus stops to take extra passengers on for shorter trips for extra cash. Overcrowding the small van was a significant safety issue as well. The van had a tire blowout on the trip. We could not even get out of the van, we were trapped in the back seats with the fake wooden seat blocking the way out of the van. Fortunately, when the tire blew out the driver was able to safely stop the van without crashing. Overall, very poor day. At first CPTH dismissed our review of the experience, until I sent photos. (Be sure to take photos of everything, if you want to be believed). The main weakness of the "10 day Philippines tour" is the overall structure of the 10 day tour. Too many all day travel days. I present a solution to CPTH below. The setup for the tour is generally 1 fun day at the target location and 1 travel day. (Travel Day: Arrive at airport 2-3 hours before flight, 1 hour flight, 1-2 hour airport transportation to new hotel. Every airplane in the Philippines was 2 or more hours late during our tour). So, travel days basically mean 7-8 hours are wasted in travel. COMMENT TO CPTH: To significantly improve this tour Skip Puerto Princesa. Fly directly to El Nido from Cebu. The 2 days used in Puerto Princesa could be added to El Nido. (The underground river activity is about the same distance from El Nido as it is from Puerto Princesa). The drive from Puerto Princesa to El Nido is a terrible experience (long, boring, crowded) that can be easily avoided. Comments about locations: Boracay - Excellent beaches, snorkeling, fun places to visit, numerous dining location (Might have been nice to stay longer at this location) Cebu - Large City (Magellan Sites and the Old Fort). Cebu itself is not worth the visit. HOWEVER, it is necessary to visit the Whalesharks in Oslob. The whale shark experience is the jewel of this tour package. It truly was an awesome experience. You will snorkel and maybe even get touched by a whaleshark. We did. After the whale shark experience you visit a private island resort (Sumilon Island) with amazing food (include free with tour)) and an excellent snorkeling beach and fancy swimming pools. This was our best day in Philippines. Puerto Princesa - This location can be skipped. Big City. El Nido - It is famous for its island Hopping Tours. There are 4 daily tours (A, B, C, D). A and C are the best tours for people that like to snorkel. This tour gives you 1 day of island hopping and 1 free day. We ended up doing Tours A and D. (Tour C was cancelled due to bad weather, a monsoon was in the area). The tourist area is small and can be walked, no transportation is needed. If you are tired of the water, El Nido also has a nice hanging bridge and mountain walk activity (take about 90 minutes). It was very nice.Show more

Lisa· May 4th, 2024This trip was excellent! Moya, my personal agent, was amazing and made my trip (as a solo woman traveler) comfortable and special. Moya provided daily itineraries, point of contacts, and handled any special requests quickly! He even provided what to expect, what to bring, and what to look forward to even BEFORE the trip began. What service. I told all my friends about the CPTH and Moya. The hotels are good. Clean and safe. A couple were really modern with roof top pools. Asked on December 19th, 2025What dates in January is this tour definitely going? I am looking for this tour departing the 10th of January and before the 20th. Please also advise the size of the group booked and average age
CTPH TOUROperator•Written December 2025Unfortunately, at the moment we don't have availability for the January dates you're looking for. This is due to the absence of direct flights from El Nido to Manila during that period. If you're open to alternative months or would like us to suggest other tour options that might suit your travel window, I'd be more than happy to help.

Asked on November 10th, 2025Is the transfer on the first and last day included? What time does she need to be at the airport on Day 1, as the tour starts with the flight to Boracay? In case she needs an additional pre-night, would it be possible to add this to the booking? Do you still have availability for the 18th of November?
CTPH TOUROperator•Written November 2025Our service begins with the flight to Caticlan and ends with the return flight back to Manila. I usually arrange an afternoon flight to Caticlan—anytime from 1:30 PM onwards works perfectly. Yes, an additional pre-night can definitely be added. The rate is $130 for the extra night of accommodation. Unfortunately, we're unable to proceed with the requested travel date on November 18th, as it's no longer available.

Asked on October 16th, 2025What time is pick up on Dec 26th from MNL? What time is return flight back to MNL on Jan 4? Day 4: there's a picture of a whale shark but paragraph talks about canyoneering? What day is Oslob?
CTPH TOUROperator•Written October 2025Our service officially starts with the flight to Boracay, so there's no pickup from MNL on December 26. We typically arrange the return flight to Manila on the last day (January 4) in the morning, giving you enough time to connect to your international flight out of the Philippines. You're absolutely right — we've replaced the Oslob whale shark experience with Moalboal, so the description should now reflect that change. Since Oslob has been removed from the itinerary, Moalboal is now included instead.

Asked on September 22nd, 2025Is it safe to be alone as it's quite independent. What about if I spent an extra night in Manila at the end? Or is it possible to add an extra night at the last stop before going back to fly out of Manila? I would want to have a room to myself so are there cheaper but still safe hotels because the single supplement is quoted a lot?
CTPH TOUROperator•Written September 2025While the journey is semi-independent, we provide detailed guidance and support throughout, and you'll always have me as your point of contact. It's absolutely possible to add an extra night in Manila or at the last stop before returning, whichever feels best for you. Just let us know your preference, and we'll be happy to help arrange it. Regarding accommodation, the single supplement does apply for solo travelers, and that's the only option we're able to offer at the moment. We do this to ensure comfort and privacy for our guests. We'll make sure you feel supported every step of the way—you won't be alone in this experience.

Traveler•Written September 2025Can I delay my flight back to Manila for a few days at the end of tour so I can go on to Coron and back on my own?
CTPH TOUROperator•Written September 2025The whale shark experience has already been replaced with Moalboal in the itinerary, so unfortunately, swimming with whale sharks is no longer included in this tour.
CTPH TOUROperator•Written September 2025Would you like your return flight to Manila to be re-routed from Coron instead from El Nido? If so, may I also ask when you'd like your flight back to Manila so we can check the best options for you?

Asked on July 29th, 2025I am interested in doing a island hoping tour in the Philippines early next. Could you please inform me of opportunities with your tours for Scuba Diving with the whale Sharks and diving at some of the other famous dive sites in the Philippines.
CTPH TOUROperator•Written July 2025Our 10-day Philippines Island Adventure is a fantastic way to explore the country's most beautiful destinations, and I'm happy to let you know that it includes stops in some of the best areas for marine life, stunning beaches, and exciting adventures. While this particular package does not currently include a dedicated scuba diving experience or a whale shark encounter by default, we'd be more than happy to help you personalize your trip with optional dive add-ons. Here's how it can fit your interests: Moalboal (Cebu) is a diver's paradise and home to the famous sardine run, vibrant coral walls, and turtles. We can absolutely arrange scuba diving sessions here during your stay. While the itinerary doesn't currently include Donsol or Oslob, where whale shark encounters are common, we can explore customizing your journey or adding a pre-/post-tour extension to include this unforgettable experience. In El Nido, while diving isn't in the core itinerary, the snorkeling and lagoon tours offer fantastic views of the underwater world, and optional diving can be arranged if you're keen to explore more of Palawan's marine biodiversity.
