  I was disappointed, to say the least, with this tour. It is a “5 day” tour, but day 1 and day 5 are just airport...
  I was disappointed, to say the least, with this tour. It is a “5 day” tour, but day 1 and day 5 are just airport pick-up/drop-off. The watersports is terrible, and not worth the cost of this tour. It was listed as a group tour, however I ended up being the only person on the tour, which lead to a very lonely/boring experience. Also, the driver / “tour guide” could barely speak English. He was a very nice person, however he was not able to provide any information / conversation due to the extreme language barrier. Definitely not a tour guide. He had to call and have someone speak to me over the phone just for me to ask if there would be other people attending the rafting, as he couldn’t understand my question. The hotel was decent. It was clean, however did not have many other travelers / tourists. The elevator occasionally shook violently when passing the 2nd floor, which lead me to taking the stairs for the rest of the trip. (Happened 3 times out of about 6 elevator rides, after which point I decided to just take the stairs) The breakfast was sub-par. Not terrible, but just plain and simple. Not great tasting. The first day was decent. If there were other travelers it would have likely been a good time, but it was quite lonesome on my own, and with a driver I couldn’t communicate well with. Also, you have to pay admission yourself for the Holy Spring Water Temple (Tirta Empul Temple, 50,000 rupiah). The guide that was provided took me on a 20 minute tour, and upon the end of the tour asked for a tip/donation. I provided 50,000 rupiah, the exact same cost as the admission. He then asked to have 100,000 rupiah instead, double the cost of admission. The location for lunch is beautiful, with a fantastic view of Mount Batur. The food, however, was quite boring. The appetizer chicken soup was the best part of the meal. I skipped the cycling for the second days events, as it was going to be alone again, but went to the rafting as there were going to be other travelers at the event. The water rafting was a decent experience, but unfortunately the other travelers also did not speak English. I believe this would be a fun experience with more people. The water sports is terrible. This was the main reason I had booked this tour, as it had the marine water sports adventure with Para-sailing, which I had never tried before. The itinerary showed 9am to 12pm, with Para-Sailing. However, this was the biggest waste of money. We arrived at the location at approx 9am. After completing the waiver, I was notified that the para-sailing is not available, and that it is being substituted for a donut boat ride, which is just a large inflatable towed behind a weak motor boat. We started at about 9:30am. I was taken out to the jet-skis, which an instructor takes you out to some open water, and then you are allowed to drive around for about 5-7 minutes, after which point the instructor says you can pay more money to continue. The banana boat ride and donut boat ride were both very boring, and were both shorter than the jet skiing. Including walking between the different rides, and waiting a couple minutes, I was completed at 9:56. All three items done from 9:30am to 9:56am. This tour was a big waste of money. It would have been significantly cheaper just to go to the sites myself with taxis / hiring the driver directly. The watersports is a big waste. I am hoping others can avoid the same experience.Show more

  We apologize for any inconvenience during your vacation in Bali. We always try to make our guests feel happy and enjoy the holiday atmosphere, unfortunately this does not happen to you. We apologize also for the service of our tour guide, because he is a new guide who joined us. We use him, because all of our driver guides are not available due to handling other guests, so we chose him to handle you. It is unfortunate because when he handle you, he has nothing to report us about your complaints. For parasailling, the water sports operator eliminated it because the wind was so weak that it could endanger you, so we compensated with a donut boat. For tipping, we have reminded our guide not to force visitors, and once again we apologize for that. Regarding your boredom because you do not we joined with other guests because all our packages are private packages where we do not combine you with other guests. We also thank you very much for your feed back and we will make it a lesson for our better service going forward. Our warmest regards to your family and have a good day.
