  The supplement for extra 1 day in Xieng Khouang is US $170/PERSON. However, please kindly noted that the best time to visit this site is from November. Early October is still the end of rainy season, so there maybe some rainy days which could made the road conditions quite difficult. If possible, you may change your travle date to November. Otherwise, the road conditions will depend very much on the weather at that time

  Travel by private car from Phonsavan, Xieng Khouang, to Luang Prabang normally takes approximately 7–8 hours, covering around 260 km. Because the route is mountainous and winding, if in the rainy day, I recommend allowing 8–9 hours, including rest and lunch stops.

  With the visit to Mandalao elephant sanctuary would this be in the morning or afternoon as I note that feeding is only in the afternoon? Also is lunch included? Does the tour include visiting 1. "Ban Napia village", 2. "Ban Phanom" and 3. "Ban Xieng Di"? Does the tour include visiting Muang Khoun market? Does the tour include ALL entrance fees? What days and places is lunch included?

  With the visit to Mandalao elephant sanctuary this is a half day group tour including lunch. The tour start from 08:30 to 13:30. They are not included. I added a half-day tour to Ban Phanom and Ban Xieng Lom on Day 5 (if time permitted) Unless you can move to Day 6. Ban Napia Village is too far from Luang Prabang, we should not add it to the tour. Actually, it's included with Phonsavanh market which is more interesting with local food products and of course Muang Khoun is included and visit the old temple. Yes, of course tour included all entrance fees as mentioned in the itinerary. Only 1 lunch on Day 5, other lunch and dinner at your own expense

  Actually we don't recommend Muang Fuang for European or American tourists as this place is very noisy by local tourists party with loud music on both riversides and even on boat or motor raft, It's not the main highlight for international tourists who looking for quiet destinations.
