It’s wonderful to know that both your guide and driver made such a positive impression. We work carefully to select professionals who are not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also genuinely passionate about creating a seamless and enjoyable experience. We appreciate your feedback regarding the time spent at certain locations. Balancing sightseeing with driving distances can sometimes require careful timing, and your comments are very helpful as we continually refine our itineraries to enhance the overall flow. We’re also pleased that you enjoyed the hotels and found the breakfast and dinner buffets to be of good quality. Thank you as well for your honest note about the lunch restaurants — this kind of feedback allows us to explore ways to elevate those experiences further. It was truly a pleasure to have you on this journey, and we hope to welcome you again on another adventure in the near future.

The tour starts at 8:30am (pick up from hotels starts around 7-7:30am). The tour ends on day 4 around 6:30 pm.

We can send you some pre and post options but we need specific dates for that

    Asked on February 11th, 2026

    1) how many people are usually on the tour 2) I have heard concerns about being long lunch stops being made at "preferred" locations where there is only one option (no other nearby restaurants) and that these are poor and expensive. Can you comment on that please. 3) are any stops made at souvenir shops or businesses or is the tour solely to the historical sites described. 4) what time is pickup on day 1, and do we go to numerous hotels for that. If there is a preferred location please advise. 5) I would look to upgrade hotels. Can you tell me which hotels we would therefore be staying at each night.

    • Let's Book TravelOperatorWritten February 2026

This tour has a max participation of 50 pax, usually we have about 35-40

The lunch stops are done at specific restaurants as not all restaurants accept groups and if they do they require previous booking as they do not have the bandwith for groups on the spot.

In all the locations you have free time so you can wander in souvenir stores/shops

The pick up on day 1 depends on your hotel accommodation, we can send you the list of hotels we pick up from or if you have a hotel already in mind, please advise which one and I will inform you what time the pick up will be.

We only book our groups in 4 star hotels, the details are:
      19 September: Eurora Olympia hotel
      20 September: Amalia Delphi Hotel
      21 September: Grand Meteora Hotel

    • D

      Dana

      TravelerWritten February 2026

      1) I do understand that not all restaurants can handle groups, but some reviews indicate that the lunch stops on the tour were both expensive and not all that good. So my query is really whether there are options nearby aside from your scheduled lunch stops - somewhere to buy something light rather than a full/buffet meal.

      2) Of course there will be opportunities to shop, however my question is really whether in addition to the historical stops described, we are also taken to particular venues (eg honey farm, souvenir shops, etc.) and therefore forced to stay there until the bus is scheduled to leave.

      3) And yes, it would be advantageous to know the hotels you pick up from in Athens, as it will shorten the exit time for all concerned if we are at fewer hotels!

      4) The hotels you use look fine, thanks for that.

      5) Is there a set drop off point in Athens at the end of the tour, or is it at the hotel we're booked into?

    • Let's Book TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

All tours have a specific program which concerns the group as a whole. The lunch stops are made at specific restaurants and it is not possible to drop off clients at different areas. The reason for this is not for guests to stay together in order to avoid anyone to get lost. Stops are also made at souvenir shops. It is always optional for guests to buy gifts. As I have stated earlier, it is important for guests to stay together.

In Athens we pick up from the following hotels:
Achillion, Acropolis Museum Boutique Hotel, Acropolis Select, Alexandros Airotel, Amalia, Arethusa, Ariston, Art Hotel Athens, Grecotel Pallas Athena, Athenaeum Grand, Atheneum Smart Hotel, Athenian Callirhoe, Athenian Montaza Hotel, Athens Avenue, Athens Comfort, Athens Gate, Athens Key Hotel, Athens One Smart Hotel, NJV Athens Plaza, Athens Tiare, AthensWas Design Hotel, Athinais, Attalos, Hotel Balasca, Breeze Boutique Athens, Boss Boutique Hotel Athens, Brown Acropol, Candia Hotel, Divani Caravel Hotel, Cecil Hotel, Coco-Mat Athens BC, Chic -Athens HiTech Hotel, Crowne Plaza Athens - City Centre, an IHG Hotel, Crystal City, Delice Hotel Family Apartments, Delphi Art Hotel, Divani Palace Acropolis, Dorian Inn, Economy Hotel Athens, Electra Rhythm Athens, Evita Asty Hotel, Fresh Hotel, The Golden Age Hotel of Athens, Golden City Hotel, Grand Hyatt Athens, Hotel Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens, Hera Hotel, Herodion Hotel, Hotel @ Syngrou Fix, Ilisia Hotel, ILISSOS HOTEL, INNATHENS HOTEL, InterContinental Athenaeum Athens, an IHG Hotel, Jason Inn, Hotel Katerina, King George, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens, Casual Kubic Athens, Lotus Center Apartments, Athens Marriott Hotel, Melia Athens, Minoa Hotel, Moxy Athens City, Nafsika Hotel Athens Centre, NEW Hotel, NLH FIX | Neighborhood Lifestyle Hotels, Novotel Athenes, Novus City Hotel, Parnon Hotel, Airotel Parthenon, Pergamos Hotel, Philippos Hotel, Polis Grand Hotel, President Hotel Athens, Radisson Blu Park Hotel, Athens, Royal Olympic Hotel, The Stanley, Airotel Stratos Vassilikos Hotel, Titania Hotel Athens, Wyndham Grand Athens, Wyndham Athens Residence, Zafolia

The tour starts at 8.30am , pick ups from Athens center hotels start earlier (exact time depends on your hotel). So, it is best you arrive in Athens the day/night before with an overnight at a hotel.
At the end of the tour, on the 4rth day, we arrive back in Athens after 18.30 in the afternoon, so you need to book a hotel room (if you do not leave the same day that is) for the night.
