Here's a breakdown of additional costs for popular activities: Botanical Gardens: Approximately $10–$15 per person. National Parks: Entry fees typically range from $20–$30 per person. Wildlife Safaris (Jeep Options): Half-Day Safari: Includes tickets, jeep, and entry for 2 persons – $100. Full-Day Safari: Includes tickets, jeep, lunch, snacks, and entry for 2 persons – $180. Cultural and Historical Sites: These vary but are usually between $5–$25 per person, depending on the site. Whale and Dolphin Watching: Prices vary, starting at approximately $50–$75 per person.

I have a few questions about the tour. This tour is for 17 days, yet the detail states that 9 nights accommodation is included in price. Should it read 16 nights? Safari costs are not included in price? Can you give me an estimate of the charges at each national park? Will these be booked ahead or only as we get there? I would be concerned that during the busiest tourist season that late last minute bookings may mean disappointments and unable to go on safari. I would be looking to do this tour in late February/early March of 2024. Do you know starting dates for that period?

The itinerary was varied and gave us the opportunity to experience many different sides of the country, including cultural sites, the hill country, tea plantations, scenic train travel, Yala National Park, beaches, Galle and the southern coast. A very special thanks goes to our chauffeur driver, Mr. Sameer. He did an excellent job throughout the whole journey. He was always helpful, patient, friendly, punctual and flexible, and he took very good care of us from one destination to the next. He was much more than just a driver; he became a very good companion during the trip and made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the journey. His attitude and professionalism were one of the main reasons we enjoyed the tour so much. I would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Ranjith from Stelaran Holidays for his personal attention, communication and support before and during the tour. He welcomed us personally on arrival and remained available whenever assistance was needed. Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience and with the service provided by Stelaran Holidays.
