Baamonde
You'll arrive in Baamonde and spend time walking through this charming village to get oriented. The Romanesque Saint James Church is your main stop here, and there's something really special nearby that makes the trip worth the effort: a chapel that's been carved right into a 500-year-old chestnut tree next to the parish church. It's the kind of detail you won't find in most places, so take time to see it properly.
