Arrival in Kalpitiya
You'll arrive at Bandaranayke International Airport where a Koon Holidays representative meets you for the transfer to Kalpitiya. This quiet beach destination is ideal for honeymooners, and after checking into your accommodation, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and relax on the golden sandy beach.

Kalpitiya
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll spend the day at leisure on the beach. Swim in the tropical waters, relax by the pool, or grab a chilled beer or tropical fruit juice. Later in the evening, you'll board a boat ride in the Kalpitiya lagoon to enjoy champagne or wine on a sandbank as the sun sets. Back at the hotel, a romantic candlelit dinner by the beach wraps up the night.

Kalpitiya to Sigiriya
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then head to Sigiriya in central Sri Lanka. Check in to your tree house accommodation in the jungle, where you can hear singing birds and soak in the romantic atmosphere. In the evening, hike up to Pidurangala Rock to watch the sunset from the top. This ancient monastery complex dates back to the third century BC and was significantly expanded during King Kasyapa's reign.

Sigiriya
After breakfast, you'll climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Sri Lanka's most valued historical monument. Explore the ruined palace complex and admire the frescoes and mirror wall. Later, visit a local village to experience authentic village life, then head to Hiriwadunna for a village lunch combined with trekking. You'll walk through the jungle, cross a lake by catamaran, and help with crop harvesting before tasting fresh cuisine prepared by the farmer's family.

Sigiriya to Kandy
You'll have breakfast at the hotel and travel to Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka. On the way, stop at Dambulla Rock Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the second century BC with five caves containing 153 Buddha statues and unique paintings. Continue to Kandy, a charming cultural center surrounded by hills, valleys, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. By evening, visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic and see a cultural show.

Kandy to Belihuloya

Then continue to your eco-friendly luxury tented accommodation located in the middle of the jungle.

Belihuloya to Yala
You'll have breakfast at the campsite, then travel to Yala, a popular spot for wildlife enthusiasts. Pass through local villages and rural areas to see how people live in the countryside. After arriving in Yala and checking into the campsite, you'll see a beautiful lake in front of your tent. Later, enjoy a candlelit dinner by the lake.

- Day 9
Yala
You'll have breakfast and spend the morning at leisure exploring the location. Swim in the pool and try fresh fruit juices. In the evening, you'll take a safari in Yala National Park where you can see large herds of elephants and the elusive leopard, along with other indigenous animals. Return to the campsite afterward to relax.

Landmarks Yala National Park - Day 10
Yala to Bolgoda
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll transfer to Bolgoda. Stop at the famous Galle Dutch Fort and ancient city on the way. Originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663, this UNESCO World Heritage site spans 90 acres and is Asia's largest colonial-built fort. It has galleries, cafes, and shops inside its interesting architecture. Then continue to your luxury boat house for your last two nights.
