This specific trip cannot be customised in terms of itinerary or inclusions. It is only available as it is presented here. However, it may be possible to book this as a regular group departure (as listed on the tour page), or arrange something in a private format, depending on availability and feasibility.

    Asked on August 22nd, 2025

I am interested in the Eastern USA & Canada Escape (15 destinations) and am wanting to book the 22nd September 2026 departure. Does this mean I need to book directly on the Expat Explore website or can I book through Tour Radar? If I need to book directly with Expat Explore, can you please provide me with the discount code/quote so I can proceed with booking?

    Payments
    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten August 2025

We'd like to clarify that the Return Traveller Discount is only available for bookings made directly through the operator's website, not via TourRadar. Additionally, this discount is only applicable once you've completed your first trip with Expat Explore Travel. Since your departure isn't until 2026, the discount would not yet be valid. TourRadar offers alternative savings: you can receive a 3% promo code by downloading the PDF brochure, and you'll also earn travel credits on bookings over $1000 after completing any tour with us, which can be applied toward future trips.

Since the Tour that you are interested in is still for September, we have a list of the Contracted Hotels for that tour but that is still under "Subject to change" status because the confirmation for the Hotels are done closer to the departure.

Yes please if I could get a list. I understand it may change. Also, how many people are on the tour please?

We currently have 16 travelers on this tour departure.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten June 2024

The tour ends at the Starting Hotel but I just want to share that it is confirmed closer to the departure. Customers are advised to reach out to us around 60 Days before their tour starts to ask for that information.

I'm wanting to book my return flights to NY, but need the approximate time for when we finish our tour so I can book the return home. Are you able to provide this info?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten July 2024

This tour ends at around 5-9PM in New York on the last day (Traffic Dependent). You mentioned that you are booking your flights already but I just wanted to check if you already booked the tour?

  • C

    Charles

    Asked on May 22nd, 2024

Where in NYC does the tour end exactly? Airport, hotel?

    Tour Details
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten May 2024

At this stage, your departure is too far in advance for us to give you a confirmed starting hotel. Due to the fact that our hotels are subject to change, we do not provide inaccurate information beforehand to minimize any confusion that may be caused. We therefore suggest reaching out roughly 90 days prior on you confirmed booking page for this information.

  • J

    Jackie

    Asked on March 21st, 2024

Are international flights included in the tour price?

    Flights / Transfers
    Price / Availability
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2024

Whilst internal flights are covered for certain itineraries, you will have to make your way to the meeting point for the start of your tour. When booking flights be mindful of departure times and possible delays.
Tip: We suggest that you start comparing prices the moment your deposit is paid to avoid costly flights.

  • K

    Kristen

    Asked on March 21st, 2024

    Are young children allowed?

    Age Range
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2024

We have a set minimum age of 10 for our tours, but we're happy to consider younger children on a case-by-case basis. Just let us know your request, and we'll do our best to accommodate it. Expat Explore reserves the right to accept or decline the request at our discretion. We want to ensure everyone has a great time exploring with us!

  • S

    Sophie

    Asked on March 21st, 2024

Can you cater for my dietary requirements?

    Meals
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2024

We make every effort to include local cuisine on our tours to ensure an authentic experience for you. You'll receive an email before the tour begins, where we'll ask for your dietary preferences. We always have a vegetarian option, and we'll work hard to accommodate any other dietary needs or preferences you may have.

  • T

    Timothy

    Asked on March 21st, 2024

Do I need to exchange cash before I leave?

    Payments
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten March 2024

Contactless payment is widely accepted across Europe – it’s best to bring a payment card with no overseas withdrawal fees.
      * Keep in mind that certain optionals are payable in cash to your tour leader whilst on tour. We suggest that you talk to your Tour Leader about when & where to draw cash to pay for the optional excursions.
