Arrival
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you straight to the hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around and get a feel for the place at your own pace.

Candirejo Village
Head out early to catch the Borobudur sunrise, then drive to Candirejo village where you'll experience how locals live and work. You'll try your hand at making cassava chips, pick up some basics of gamelan music, and walk through vegetable gardens. If you're interested, horse carriage rides are available to explore the village further.

Dieng Plateau
After breakfast, travel up to Dieng Plateau at 2,093 meters where the air gets noticeably cooler. Check out the Arjuna Temple Complex and Crater Sikidang, then see the colored lakes Telaga Warna and Telaga Pengilon. A local guide shares stories about the area's legends and how the natural features formed. Grab lunch before heading back to your hotel.

Yogyakarta Cultural Sites
Start at Sultan Palace, then hop into a pedicab heading to Taman Sari Water Castle for a closer look at the historical site. Later, stop by Pasar Burung market for lunch and some browsing. From there, head to Kotagede Mataram, the old capital known for its silver work. Spend time on Malioboro picking up souvenirs, and finish the day at Prambanan Temple as the light starts changing.

Ubud Exploration
You'll fly to Bali and arrive in Ubud village where things move at a slower pace. Head to Batubulan village to watch a traditional Barong dance performance, then visit Celuk village to see how artisans work with gold and silver. Stop in Batuan village to watch painters at work, and check out Tegenungan waterfall. After lunch, explore the Tegalalang rice terraces which stretch across the hillside, then visit Ubud Monkey Forest where you can walk among the primates. The Ubud Royal Palace and local market round out your afternoon.

Bali Temples and Beaches
Visit Taman Ayun temple, a royal temple that's been standing since the Mengwi Dynasty with intricate architecture throughout. After you eat lunch, head to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana complex to see the massive Vishnu statue. Swim at Dreamland Beach before driving to Uluwatu Temple, which sits right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Watch the Kecak and fire dance as the sun sets, then enjoy fresh seafood down at Jimbaran Beach.

Travel to Kintamani village for views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur, and have lunch while looking out at the volcano. Visit Taman Ayun Temple, and wrap up at Tanah Lot Temple to catch the sunset over the ocean before returning to your hotel.
