Opt for an English-speaking guide instead. What's more, we were scheduled for 14 breakfasts and lunches; we only had 13, with no partial refund from Ayla Tour. Finally, the program we received was incomplete and sometimes even wrong. From the moment we booked, customer service didn't give us clear answers to our questions: incomplete, rapid responses, often limited to a single sentence. Our program included a jeep trip to Mount Merapi. The local guide asked us if we were sure we wanted to do it, as it was raining. He obviously didn't want to bother with it and offered nothing else instead. So we paid and did the activity, but he was neither motivated nor pleasant. As I have food allergies, I wanted to be reassured that my constraints would be taken into account, but we received no concrete response from them.
