We are a group of four traveling from Sydney Australia, we are looking for a tour in Usbakistan and Tajikistan for about 10 days. We can join the tour in Tashkand or Dushanbeh. Can you find us a tour including five star hotels, flight, transport and a guide?

We have Uzbekistan and Tajikistan 11 Day tour and hope this is suitable for you. However we consider 3 star hotels on our tour and we can modify and upgrade for you in 5 star hotels. But 5 star hotels are available only in Tashkent, Samarkand and Dushanbe cities. In other cities the best available hotels are 4 star hotels and they are very good with international standards, facilities and location.

How many travelers are requested for a specific price?

The price is based on the program designed for your group size, for instance, $1549 for 10 people.

What if I need a special language guide?

We can arrange guides who speak Farsi, Dari, or Russian as per your preference.

What meals are included in the tour package?

In Tajikistan, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, while in Uzbekistan only breakfast is provided.

What is the recommended flight schedule for this trip?

You can schedule your flights to arrive at Tashkent, which is the starting point of the tour.

Do you have any other departure dates in august? I am already doing a hike on the 7th - 14th of august and would like to do this tour after that.

He went above and beyond with getting us through border crossings and distracting a difficult member of the tour. Unlike other reviewers, I very much enjoyed interacting with locals in the mountain villages (Gazza & Voru). Although Samarkand, Bukhara & Khiva were interesting, I found the commercialisation (Shops & tourist shows) too much at times. Overall a good balance of sights, culture and activities with little unutilised time.Show more

Communications with Odil of Steppe Journeys before we made our booking was excellent. All queries were answered promptly and in detail. Once our tour began contact with SJ’s continued but with other staff members. In each city of each country tour guides and drivers were amazing. The guides were very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Contact details of the guides and drivers were given in advance and they always contacted us via WhatsApp prior to our arrival. They were always on time and all expectations were met. Border crossings went smoothly with drop off and picks ups. Again we were always met by our guides and drivers once we crossed over the border. Our overall tour of The Stans was truly an unforgettable experience!! Booking with a local tour company is definitely the way to go. The insights gained by being guided by and sharing your time with the locals is second to none!!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Steppe Journeys. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
