I want to do the 3 day Lake district tour from Manchester but it says no dates available

The tour you have mentioned is available on the departure date of the 27th of July. The tour shows availability for all Monday departures in July.

Do your tours only leave on Mondays during May and June please? Is it possible to travel on a different day?

Our 3-day Lake District Explorer tour from Manchester only departs on Mondays, I'm afraid.

I'm interested in booking a 3 or 4 day Lakes District Tour from Manchester in late April or early May 2026. When do these times open up for booking?

We do offer a 3-day Lake District tour that departs from Manchester. The tour will be running in 2026, but the full schedule has not been uploaded yet, so I am unable to give you exact dates. We are in the process of uploading this schedule so please check back with us in a few weeks for an update.

Can I request a ground floor room?

You can add this request when booking so our accommodation team is aware of your preference.

Can I be on a waiting list for March 3-5, 2025? Alternately does your company have another 3-day trip in the area with some literary reference that I could do instead?

I'm afraid we aren't running this tour in the winter months; the first departure this year is Monday 07 March. We have some tours leaving from Edinburgh and Glasgow of the Scottish Highlands, and a 2-Day tour from London of southern England as well.

How many travelers are allowed on the tour?

The tours are designed for small groups, usually not exceeding a specific number for an intimate experience.

Does the 3 day Lake District tour include an opportunity to visit the Beatrix Potter homestead?

This tour does not include a visit to the Hill Top Beatrix Potter House. We do visit the nearby village of Hawkshead on day 2, but there is no visit to the house itself.

Do you offer more bus tours departing from Manchester. We are coming from Canada to see Coronation Street and would like to fill up a week or so of sightseeing.

I had a look at trainline and I can see there are several departures from London to Manchester Piccadilly on 22nd July that would arrive before the tour departure time of 10am

Recent wet weather causing road closures affected our itinerary as did rain on our 3rd day. But thankfully Clive was able to adapt it such that we didn't feel we missed out at all. We weren't sure what to expect by this tour because we aren't the kind of travelers who usually book tours, but we knew we couldn't drive in the UK as US drives unfamiliar with the roads and that was true for I think anyone but our driver, Clive, who expertly navigated roads and road diversions with aplomb. He was also kind and lovely and informative and funny and welcoming and warm and full of stories that enhanced the journey. He was a perfect tour guide and driver. Flexible with our needs, complimentary with our punctuality (and we were blessed to have a punctual group) and my fellow tour group members were also lovely and delightful and I feel we really lucked out with an excellent group, but most especially with Clive -- give the man a raise!Show more

  The tour is Windsor, Sonehenge, Bath & Oxford 2-day tour from London. This spends the overnight in Bath, and some highlights of the tour are Windsor, Stonehenge, The Cotswolds, The town of Oxford. The tour will depart at 8:30am from the Greenline Coach Terminal on Bulleid Way in Victoria, SW1W 9SH. You will return to London at around 7pm the next day.
