  Our party of 3 asked for English tour. Was placed with a Spanish tour. Tour started day earlier with a message left on What’s app. Never was told that was how communication would be handled. Guide called 1 hr in advance and we made our own way by taxi.. Went downhill from there. Tour was mainly shopping and food on route instead of sights. Guides said that’s the main interest of other guests. Hotels were sub standard. Actually got locked in our room. Total confusion on events as people came and left the tour each day. Have 3 different guides during trip. Didn’t know how we were traveling from Scotland to London until the day before. Will never use Tour Radar again.Show more

We would like to clarify that, as indicated in the itinerary published before purchase, departure information is provided via a notice posted in the hotel lobby for passengers joining the group, and a message is also sent to ensure that no one misses important information. In certain cities, due to logistics and the chosen starting point of the tour, some passengers need to make their own way to the meeting point since the tour does not begin at the hotel. In such cases, as with your situation, the cost of the taxi was reimbursed. Regarding the tour structure, our trips are cultural in nature and combine guided visits with free time, allowing passengers to purchase food, souvenirs, or enjoy the surroundings independently. During excursions, guides provide information about the sites both on the bus and at the points of interest. The hotels assigned are 4-star accommodations, as clearly indicated before purchase, and are not luxury hotels. We greatly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving communication and the organization of our tours.   He was nice, but could not understand the guide. Bus driver was nice, but drove like a bat out of hell where we all were thrown from one side of our seats to the other the whole trip. Stops, with the exception of one, were not long enough to see what was there. Hotel in Inverness was not good and my roommate and I had to get our rooms changed in Edinburgh and Inverness from one bed to two. We were left at the wrong place in Glasgow and told the hotel was just around the corner. It was not. The bus driver just happened to come around the corner bringing something that was left on the bus and discovered this. The guide had gotten off at another stop prior. Left bad impression of Scotland and TourRadar. We didn't even get to see a Highland cow which everyone on the bus was looking forward to. Took a cruise down the Reine last year and enjoyed it, but even with your good prices, doubt I will use TourRadar again. Don't want to take a chance on another horrible trip. Sue HallShow more

  I would not recommend this tour for English speaking travelers. My tour had mostly Spanish and Mandarin speakers. I was one of 3 people out of 25 who spoke English. This trip was too large and diverse. The company was not responsive. When I booked this trip the reviews were good, but they are horrible now. TourRadar should stop advertising these tours.Show more

Edinburgh Castle tour was sold out by the time we got there in the afternoon. If we knew that day was unescorted we would of planned our day better.What a great surprise we had Maia.Show more

  The tour started off a bit disorganized but a change of guide and the experience improved with Neus as our tour guide. The itinerary was varied and the weather played its part. We had a small group who gelled well and we had fun. The accomodation was comfortable and the last night's stay at The Social Hub was excellent. We had a brilliant bus driver, Brendan who was very informative as well. Thank you to Neus our lovely tour guide and Brendan who drove us safely around Scotland.Show more

  Only issue the first guided tour of Edinburgh we were told the meeting would have been in Hotel Lobby got a message 40 minutes before the start meeting area has changed to City center also away for any easy transportatio and required me to take a cab 39 pounds to be able to get there on time. Over all tour good lot of travel but only way to see a lot.Show more

  It was a very interesting tour and could have been even better. The tour leader was a very nice guy but had not 'done his homework'. The places we passed were steeped in the history of Scotland and the tour leader should have known this history and passed it on to the passengers who were on the tour to learn about the history of Scotland. Having been on similar tours by Trafalgar, every morning the tour leader would tell us where we were going, the history of the place, how the events there effected the people and the country, and any interesting tales or gossip which made the place interesting.Show more

  First, Jose was good and I love his flute and the playlist. With that said, in previous tours I have taken, the guide was really able to help us see and understand the culture. Scotland is not Jose specialty and I missed that aspect. As for europamondo….. communication on many things would have made for a nicer tour. We wasted a whole day by planning a 1pm meet that got changed to 330 with no communication from anyone. The tour itself was nice, but always rushed! Finally, after being in the highlands all day we get back to hotel and just want a quiet pizza and beer and find out they won’t serve dinner!Show more
