I'm traveling with a group of five people, and we'll be returning to Rome on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, from a cruise. Since we'll have already done some sightseeing in Rome before the cruise, we're hoping to explore more of Italy afterward — particularly the Tuscany region. Ideally, we'd like to depart from Rome (or Florence) on October 17th or 18th. Our plan is to spend one or two nights in Florence, and a few nights in the Tuscany countryside, preferably at a farm stay or similar accommodation. After that, we'd love to spend a few nights in Venice before flying home from there. We're flexible on where the tour begins — Rome or Florence — and we're comfortable traveling by train between cities if needed. Do you have the option while in Bologna to explore by yourself. my husband would like to visit the Ducati factory museum. Will we have time to do this on this tour or are you required to stay with the group?
