Our driver (Omar?) was skillful and personable, tour leader Mehmet a real gem - he clearly knows and loves his country, he spoke not only about the land and sites, but also the about modern-day life of Turks from childhood to retirement, the political landscape etc., and could answer any questions we had. Our group of 11 from Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand bonded immediately, we found many common interests and had a lot of fun together. If there is one thing to criticize it's the quality of accommodation - not one of our assigned hotel rooms had a view other than to another building or a parking lot, although the hotels themselves were perfectly good. I am not that keen on ancient city visit rather nature lover. Therefore, I enjoyed Cappadocia, Pamulkale loan pine. For those who are interested archeological site this tour is for you. I think we should spent two full days at Istanbul one day is not enough to visit Istanbul. We haven't seen anything in Antalya just stayed overnight. In my openion we can have some meal included in this tour. The restaurant we had our meals was unusually expensive we didn't have alternative. Most of the time our guide's preferred restaurant was only choice for for our meals. I suggest select tour that has meals included. Is this a modern air conditioned bus or van? Is there a driver in addition to the guide? There is a tour leader with you for the duration of the trip but they will not be with you during free time. They will help organize the optional extras for everyone. There will be drivers as well. We would use either a large van or small bus with air conditioning depending on how many people end up booking on that departure. We do not book the balloon ride so you would need to organize that yourself but there is time on the tour to do that. You can book a share and we could room you with another female traveller.
