The cycling on this trip is graded moderate, so a good level of fitness is important to fully enjoy the experience. You'll be riding on a mix of mostly good tarmac roads with some gentle undulating terrain, a few climbs, and some longer descents. Most riding is on paved roads (around 80%) with some cycle paths and a short section of hard-packed dirt track on Day 7. The terrain is generally manageable but the climate can add to the challenge. Jordan can be very hot, especially in the summer months and at sites such as Petra where shade is limited. A single room supplement is available for guests who would like their own room. However, if preferred, we can pair you with another solo traveller of the same gender to share a twin room and avoid the additional single supplement cost.
