The planner, Claire, created a well thought out itinerary based on our requests. We hit all the highlights and had free time in the evenings to explore the night markets and area restaurants. Even though we moved on to a different town and changed hotels daily, we didn’t feel rushed. The tour guide, Kylie, was excellent (knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, helpful, positive, enthusiastic and a pleasure to be with) and the private VW Crafter van was very comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate us and all of our luggage. The driver and guide were always punctual. Overall we had an excellent tour and highly recommend My Taiwan Tour as the local agency that Tour Radar helped us find. The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that the communication was difficult during planning phase. It often took more than a few days to get a reply and the price of the tour increased by $200-300 per person after we made minor changes. We ended up doing the last day of the tour unguided to keep the price increase under $200.Show more
