Experienced the Transylvania Castle tour with Claudia as our guide. I would highly recommend this company and Claudia was the absolute best. Claudia was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about Romania, customs, history and traditions. Transylvania was beautiful and historic. The agenda was perfect and the hotels provided were very nice. The sites and cities included in the tour were quaint and the time frame alloted was perfect. Fantastic trip.Show more

Excellent tour. Our guide/driver was Traian. We had booked the group tour option, but it was only the 2 of us, so it ended up being a private tour. Traian was very accommodating and informative. Our biggest disappointment though was the size of the car (VW Jetta). It felt very cramped, especially on the many long drives. A vehicle with more leg room would have been much more comfortable. All of the hotels were very nice and well-located. However, our stay in Iasi (Grand Hotel Traian) was less than satisfactory. It was very noisy, lasting until past 10pm and the breakfast service was lacking--food was out, but there was no one around to fulfill any requests.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of $120 is required to confirm your booking with Rolandia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
