Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us here at Trafalgar; we really appreciate hearing from our guests. While we are pleased to read that you enjoyed your trip overall, it does, however, concern us to hear that there were certain questions from your trip that still remain unanswered. Is this a definite departure date? I am celiac/gluten-free, will that be a problem to accommodate my allergy on this trip? Is this an appropriate trip for a solo female traveler?

February 16, 2025, is not yet definite departure which means the trip has not yet met minimum numbers. We can add a note to your booking so that our team is aware of your condition. This trip is a great option for solo female travelers. Our tours are designed to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive for all guests, including solo travelers.

Would you be able to book the same hotel if I arrive 3 to 4 days prior to the trip or should I book it myself? Do optional experiences on day 3 and 10 need to be pre-booked ahead of time and how much is the additional fee? Are transfers included to and from the hotel?

    • TrafalgarOperatorWritten June 2024

You can add pre-accommodation of up to 3 nights. Optional experiences will be available and coordinated by your Travel Director. Complimentary transfers will be provided from Singapore Changi Airport on the first day of the tour and from the end hotel in George Town to Penang International Airport on the last day of the tour.

    Asked on January 19th, 2022

Is there anyway we can visit Singapore either before or after the tour in order to visit with friends who live there over a 3 day weekend? Since air travel is included can we change that to upgrade to premium economy and make up any differences in that or scheduling?

    • TrafalgarOperatorWritten January 2022

Your Colonial Singapore and Malaysia trip would be starting in Singapore and ending in Penang, Malaysia, so for ease of travel, we would recommend booking your flights so that you arrive a few days earlier if you wish to visit family or friends in Singapore pre-trip. If you would like a quote for the Colonial Singapore and Malaysia trip, we just ask that you provide us which tour date you were interested in.
