Reviews of 3 day Tours from London
- 2-Day Windsor, Stonehenge, Bath & Oxford Small-Group Tour from London
The tour takes you to some great places that are all worth seeing. We liked pretty much everything we saw: the Stonehenge, Roman Baths and Bodlian library. Definitely, make sure that you have all necessary reservations in advance as many entries are timed. This is especially important during the high season. Unfortunately, we missed the Windsor castle because I didn't have a reservation ahead of time.
- 3-Day Isle of Wight and the Southern Coast Small-Group Tour from London
My recent 3-Day Isle of Wight and Southern Coast Small-Group Tour from London was a peaceful and enjoyable experience. The people in our group were friendly and made the trip even better. Our guide, Mark, was fantastic. He knew a lot about the area, cracked jokes, and helped us a lot. His stories and knowledge made the trip interesting and fun. Plus, the breathtaking sights of the lush green landscapes and the mesmerizing sea views were truly amazing. If you want a relaxing getaway with great company, a fantastic guide, and stunning natural beauty, I highly recommend this tour.
- Amsterdam for Christmas
It was 4 days of absolute enjoyment! Every part of the trip was fantastic!
What our customers ask about Best 3 day Tours from London
What are some popular destinations to explore on a 3-day tour from London?
From London, you can reach some incredible places in just three days. Head to Ireland's Ring of Kerry to see the rugged MacGillycuddy Reeks mountains and beautiful coastline. In Northern Ireland, you can visit the fascinating Giant's Causeway and the ruins of Dunluce Castle. Many travelers choose to explore southwest England, where you can see Stonehenge and the natural limestone arch of Durdle Door along the Jurassic Coast. You'll stay in comfortable places like the Queens Court Hotel in Exeter. One of our travelers put it perfectly: "The scenic coastal drives and historic sites were absolutely breathtaking."
What kind of accommodation will I have on a 3-day tour from London?
You'll stay in nice 3 to 4-star hotels, usually right in the center of things. If you're heading to Dublin, you might stay at places like the Millennium Gloucester in Kensington. For southwest England trips, you'll find yourself at hotels like the Queens Court or Premier Inn in Exeter. Every room comes with its own bathroom, and breakfast is always included. Our travelers often tell us they love the locations - as one mentioned: "The hotels were well-located and the staff were extremely helpful with directions and recommendations."
What's typically included in the price of a 3-day tour?
Your tour price covers the basics you need for a great trip. You get your hotel stays, all transportation (buses, trains, and any ferry rides), a professional guide, tickets to main attractions, and breakfast each morning. For example, if you take the Southwest England Express tour (USD 1,015), that includes two nights in hotels, all your transport, guide services, and your ticket to Stonehenge. Dublin tours run about USD 1,322 and include your train and ferry travel, three nights in a hotel, and city tours. You'll just need extra money for most lunches and dinners, any optional activities, and personal spending. As one of our travelers said: "The inclusions provided excellent value for money."
What are the most visited places on these tours?
Most travelers want to see the Roman city of Bath, the ancient stone circle at Stonehenge, the naval city of Portsmouth, and Queen Victoria's holiday home on the Isle of Wight. If you take the Southwest Express tour, you'll get to see the beautiful Jurassic Coast and the natural arch at Durdle Door. Many tours also stop in Exeter, where you might stay at the Exeter Townhouse. Our travelers often tell us they love how these tours mix coastal views, countryside, and historic sites all in one short trip.
When should I plan my 3-day tour?
The most popular time to go is between April and September when the weather's nicest and you have lots of daylight for sightseeing. Summer (June through August) brings temperatures around 68°F (20°C) but also the biggest crowds. If you want a quieter experience with still-nice weather, try spring (April-May) or fall (September-October). While tours run all year, there are fewer options in winter, and the days are shorter. For Ireland tours, September is particularly good - the weather's mild and you'll find plenty of tour options.
