A fantastic two-week tour of Vietnam (covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh) and finishing in Siem Reap, Cambodia, involving two internal flights and all manner of day trips and excursions. (The old town of Hoi An, exploring the Cu Chi tunnels, paddling on the Mekong River, and discovering Cambodia were the highlights for me). The whole tour was extremely well planned and slickly executed - pickups were almost invariably on time, transport comfortable and air-conditioned, restaurants and food excellent, and tour guides overwhelmingly knowledgeable and very personable. On the one occasion a bus trip didn't happen as scheduled, the office staff moved into action quickly and a good solution was found. Special mention to Sophia, in the Hoi An office, who without over-communicating kept us fully in the picture as to what to expect and what to prepare each day. I really felt well provided for and the entire experience was great value for money. I can recommend Hoi An Express without hesitation.
- by Tom LawsonWhat we liked most was that All the Hotels were Centrally Located almost in the City Centres. We took advantage of the location and explored each city’ by ourselves during the free times .Ofcourse there were plenty of Food,Partying,Shopping options available in Downtown areas. The entire tour was very well organised and we never felt any Travel Fatigue as the Tour was not that Fast paced . We spent a leisurely Two Weaks of Vietnam and Cambodia Vacation and enjoyed to the hilt.

very well organised, the hotels were fine except the last one. your operator was very hands on and very good at his job thank you
- by Jennifer HalsallThis trip started in Hanoi and ended in Siem Reap. Overall it was good but there was definitely opportunity for improvement. The good Danny . He met us at the hotel was very informative but we really didn’t see him after that. He was easily accessible on what’s app. The hotels in HoChiMin and Siem reap were nice we upgraded to the “5* package” we paid extra for the ship upgrade as well for a balcony in Halong Bay but that trip wasn’t really a cruise you sailed to the middle of the bay and anchored with a bunch of other boats! Not the best view! The tour guide in siem reap mr sith was amazing ! Now for the bad. The “5* hotel in Hanoi” du PARC was horrible ! The ac didn’t work mold in the bathrooms horrible mattresses old dusty carpet! The internal flights we paid extra for were poorly timed! The itinerary says get to ho chi min and siem reap in the evening and enjoy the night to yourself. We landed late at both cities and got to the hotel at 1 am! Didn’t have time to enjoy the cities at night and exhausted for the excursions in the morning! Talked to Danny about this and he gave us $20 back! Angkor Wat and Mekong delta were awesome! Vietnam and Cambodia were amazing. Would do again but spend more time in Cambodia and less in Hanoi the people were amazing!

We had Pima as our CEO for 29 days on our SE Asia encompassed tour with GAdventures. Pima is an excellent guide, she has a warm friendly personality and was very knowledgeable on all the countries we visited which included Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. She kept us all on track with day to day schedules and activities and recommended ones not included in our tour and handled all the tipping for drivers and local tour guides. Pim was extremely helpful to some of our fellow travellers when in dire need, namely loss of passport and a injury which required surgery. We would highly recommend her.

Some of the guides were more knowledgeable than others although all spoke English well enough to share the information they wished to. There was more walking involved than initially indicated which although fine for me could prove more troublesome for those with limited endurance.one of our guides spent a decent amount of time rounding up some of the group at every stop. It was like herding cats( not his fault but did detract from the overall enjoyment for the rest of the group). The complete lack of organization at the airport for pick up was the one big negative of the whole experience. Being told more than once to “go outside and look for a car with a particular license plate” but not being told where to go, where to look or even what color the car was going to be was a complete disaster and delayed us by almost 30 mins after we had just arrived in the country. Other than that the tours did cover all the main attractions we wished to visit while in Da Nang
Tour organized by Up Vietnam was absolutely fantastic. Hannah was a superstar and organized everything very efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble, she made everything seem effortless. Highly recommend this tour company!

Our Guide Long Pham so friendly and gave answers within very short time. He arranged trips in addition and changed pick-ups when neccesary... He was very friendly and even met us in person in Hanoi with a gift... so nice. I recommend Long Pham for all travellers - gave us always a good feeling an made our holiday even more enjoyable...
- by Anita VossLoved our tour through Vietnam. Long was our contact person ftom the start to the end of our trip. His customer service was the best. Did not matter when we messaged him, he responded within minutes. We needed to make a change to our itinerary due to rain in Hoi An. I messaged Long in the evening as the weather forecast was 100% chance of rain the following day snd we were suppose to go bicycling.

We has a great tour around Vietnam and enjoyed visiting the different places as planned in the itinerary. The tour organisers managed the trip very well
- by Pushparaj ShettyEverything was very well organized! Vietnam ran smoothly and the guide was very informative. In Cambodia we had a tour guide who spoke very quietly and indistinctly and couldn't answer any questions that weren't in the "script". For dinner we were taken to an INDIAN restaurant where we spent two hours!

- by Selina BaroniaFantastic tour :) we were so safe the whole time and the bikes were excellent. No one was ever left behind and the food stops were all amazing! (I still dream about some of the noodle stops)! I will be doing a tour next year for sure! Highly recommend this company to anyone! I wasn’t sure how I’d go on a bike tour but it’s such an amazing way to see the country. You make amazing friends as you ride up mountains together. 10/10 would do again!

The tour traversed the whole length of the country taking in Vietnam's major attractions. There was plenty of time to do activities that interested you but also several included tours. The hotels were high quality tourist hotels located close to the major attractions. Chris, my tour organiser handled all aspects of my trip before and during. He went above and beyond my expectations. Such a kind and helpful man. He was always available for me to phone him if there were problems and checked in regularly with me to make sure everything was going well.
- by Leah PowerThis trip was perfect. Our tour manager was Chris T and he nailed every part of it. The rides were prompt and comfortable, the hotels were delightful, and Chris was always available. Perfect!

The way this tour was described was a lot different from what we experienced. The advertising led us to believe we would have 3 days on the Mekong River with side trips to places of interest and spending 2 nights at hotels in Chau Doc and Can Tho. On arrival at the boat in Phnom Penh we were surprised that it was just a small speedboat, not terribly comfortable or clean. However it was great to be on the river. We stopped twice to exit Cambodia, and to enter Vietnam. At Chau Doc there was nobody to meet us, nor had we been told where we were staying, promised accommodation vouchers had never arrived and details were scant. After a long delay and massive help from a local hotel we were collected and driven to a new hotel, 6km from the river. The hotel was nice but the staff had very little English or training so the dinner was a shambles with only the four of us in the enormous dining room. The next morning we were picked up by Sergeant Tom in a van with no functioning seat belts and a driver who was frightening. Tom was a nice man but a totally inadequate tour guide. We were looking forward to the promised trip to a Muslim village to see women weaving headscarves - this never happened, nor did our repeated questions as to why not get answered. We had a trip to a forest which included a boat ride through a wetland, but the rest of the very long day in the car was only broken by a dreadful buffet lunch at a roadside cafe that had all but sold out of food - we had to scrape rice from the bottom of the pan. The night at the Victoria Resort in Can Tho was superb - which only served to underscore how dreadful everything else had been. The following morning after an interesting visit by boat to the floating market we were back in the car, another long day of travel with an unexplained stop at a factory making fabric from bamboo. Tom barely spoke to us throughout the two days, no history or description of what we were seeing or anything about the locals way of life. We felt we would have been much better off, both in finance and enjoyment flying from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh City. I would definitely not recommend this trip to others.
- by Owen MayhewThe coordination with the tour guide from Bravo Indochina Tours worked very well and a problem on the cruise on Halong Bay was solved immediately.

This review will only be valid if you are Indian (or come from a developing country), hence mentioning amounts in INR. Pros: 1. Great group. The group size was not very large. It was 13 people, but we became really good friends by the end of the tour. 2. Having a guide who helped whenever required. My wife had a twisted ankle and our guide took us to the hospital. 3. Some places were really beautiful like Ha long bay, Hoi An, Da lat 4. Cruise stay was awesome. 5. No hassles, guide took care of most things Cons: 1. The return on investment is very low. I paid 88K INR for the tour, but got to stay in hostels that were at max 1.5K per day (except the cruise which was 8000 per day). If I calculate the cost of internal flight, buses, transport and stay, it comes to around <45K per person (not included the cost of guide in here, but as per developing countries' standard, it shouldn't be more than 10K per person). And the cost is almost double. 2. Breakfast: in the name of breakfast, most days as vegetarians we would get bread buns or rice. 3. Not covered few really beautiful places like Ninh Binh and Ba Na hills. We had to go there by paying separately. 4. Guide: Guide could have helped us better understand history and culture of country. 5. Last day hostel: We had booked an extra night in the hostel, but on last day they denied. 6. The cities are not very different from India, so not much point in staying there.

Tour with On The Go with guide Hung - was exceptional! Just don’t let the company pressure you into pre~booking any optional tours, wait until you are in country. You can get better deals this way and cancel easier. Also there was discrepancy in website guide tipping ranges and in-country guide tipping ranges, so be prepared to tip more then they say.
- by Dana JesserExcellent trip. Hassle free.
