The itenirary was great , accommodation excellent and tour escortMr.Jay was great travel companion. Highly recommended!
- by Estela MiquiabasI and my family of three went on the Discover East Korea tour for 4 days and 3 nights. The tour consisted of our guide, Jay and the three of us since we visited Korea on January and there were less tourists. Jay went above and beyond in my first trip to Korea to help me and my family throughout the tour. He was very patient and kind, and was able to accommodate my brother with special needs. Jay was a very experienced, knowledgeable tour guide who was very social and took the time to get to know us. The hotels were all very nice (4 or 5 star hotels), and the food provided in the tour was delicious. There was so much food in each meal, and each meal was different. The activities in the tour also varied as well, and there were a lot of attractions we had a chance to visit. You will never be hungry or bored.

I enjoyed this trip overall. I learned a lot about Korea and its history. I tried new foods that were absolutely delicious, and met some lovely new people.

Antonio was very informative, personal and made the tour very fun. I would recommend this tour for all ages.
- by Kester MageeIf you care about an immersive travel experience do NOT book your tour with Europamundo. Their itineraries consist of a long check-off-list to visit many points of interest. Groups are large, sometimes exceeding more than 40 clients/ 1 guide. The majority of the time will be spent commuting in a crowded bus. Upon arriving at a destination, a short guided tour took place, sometimes followed by 30 mins - a 1-hour free time before being constantly reminded to get back in time to the bus on the way to the next destination. The food included in the tour was run-of-the-mill, often having to make long queues before being able to eat. Outside of the formal tours, there was not enough guidance as to where we can eat and what to order in our free time. Most of us do not speak Korean/Japanese and have no idea what food to order or how to order as most of the menus do not have an English translation. One of the tour guides even recommended Burger King, pizza, and pasta for a night's dinner in town! The guide did not even mention any places that would help us better immerse ourselves in the cultural cuisine. We did not pay thousands of dollars to go across the ocean to have another pizza or burger. Before the trip, the initial Q&A with the representatives was also very poorly addressed. Entering Japan required filling out several digital forms. Some of the information requested in the form can only be answered by Europamundo. I have contacted them at least FIVE times for some guidance in filling out the form only to be DELIBERATELY ignored each time stating that filling out the forms is not their responsibility. During the trip, so many of our fellow travelers haven’t even completed the forms as they have the same issues and questions we had. This is NOT excusable behavior for a tour company! If your idea of a tour is to check off as many places on a list and have subpar customer service, Europamundo may work fine for you. For the rest, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

It’s the most amazing, well rounded tour. With lots of experience and a good free time. The balance was so good!

The places we went to were great. We could have enjoy the trips if the tour guide wasn’t in a rush all the time.
- by Julieta OrtigueroWas good to see so much of South Korea in a short time. Overall I enjoyed the tour. Didn’t get to enter the DMZ due to tickets being sold out but the schedule had been reduced due to COVID. Also the joint security area has been open to public for a few years and that was what I really wanted to experience, so after learning that it wasn’t so much of a loss. The accommodation varied some good, some fabulous (oh my gosh the Grand Hyatt in Jeju was incredible). If you’re vegan or vegetarian it will be difficult for you to eat (and your tour guide may not care so much depending on who you get). It would be nice if we had more idea of what’s around us when we get dropped at our hotel - e.g., any suggestions of what would be worth seeing in the area. Also eating options (where English speakers can interpret the menu and communicate with staff)- often we would just go to a 7/11 and buy sandwiches or sushi and crackers! Highlights: Visiting the temples where the monks are, underground lava caves in Jeju and the Myeong Dong and Namdaemun markets in Seoul. Will definitely return to South Korea again…

The trip was very good. The local guide went out of her way to make the tour enjoyable for all. Food was varied and adventurous at time. Transport was good. The pace of the tour was good with a few tweaks extras were added which filled the gaps.
- by john howardThere were floods, land slides and numerous issues, but the tour went ahead and it was unforgetable. Our guide P.C. was a "force of nature" sorting everything for us. We saw great natural beauty, enjoyed warm hospitality, fought with mosquitoes and leaches and learned the Chang song [ask about it].This is way people love to travel.

Great way to see and experience South Korea for the first time. Our group of 4 were all very pleased with the level of knowledge and promptness of the tour guides in each location. The tour appears to resemble a well organized event, as we had no problems whatsoever.

Our tour guide for the first 2 days was not really a tour guide. He basically was just our driver who took us the sites and pretty much left us to peruse and read what interest us. Was not able to secure us tickets to DMZ tour so we missed that opportunity. He took us to the front entrance of DMZ to take pictures, he was not aware that that was illegal. We were told thru the loudspeaker to leave and vacate the premises. Guards came running towards us and took my phone and deleted pictures we took. That was scary because we didn't know what was going on. The rest of the trip was uneventful and the tour guides to Jeju, Busan and Seoul were very knowledgeable. The tour bus and hotels provided were very comfortable. I was very disappointed with the handling of our flight back to the US provided or not provided by Triplanet. We were told that they were not able to secure us a flight back to the US (two weeks before our trip) and we were responsible to secure our own flight after they were paid for round trip airfare. When asked if were going to get a refund we were told we have to call Air Canada for that. Air Canada said we were not the ones that booked the original flight so therefore they will need to hear from the travel agency. When I relayed this to the travel agent there was no response. Tour Radar basically said they didn't have anything to do with that and unable to give any assistance. Because of this, I do not trust this company, Tour Radar for any of my future travels.
- by Bernardita (Bernadette ) FuentesWe travelled on this fantastic adventure in March 2023! It exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it. Our guide Justin was very fun and knowledgeable! We visited so many interesting places and learned so much about the history, the culture and the food. South Korea is a fascinating and beautiful place to visit!
