Fab 10 day tour. Tour guide was organized, knowledgeable, and fun. Driver was very pleasant and a safe and cautious driver. Scenery amazing. Definitely took some back roads. Small group was so much fun!
- by Cindi ThompsonAbsolutely fabulous. This holiday fulfilled my dreams of Cornwall. Romantic fishing villages with cobbled streets. Ate freshly shucked oysters. Cottages with English rose gardens. A fantastic view of Falmouth from our hotel window. In the early morning, it was just like a Turner painting. Rick Stein's restaurant was terrific. This tour was a true delight. We will book with Back Roads again.

Wonderful relaxing quiet part of the country. Many quaint villages. Beautiful seasides. A really pleasant place to visit. Our tour guide Jenny Hicks was wonderful. We loved the tea experience and most of the hotels and inns we stayed in.
- by Linda CampbellWe recently took the Blue-Roads Kent: Garden of England tour. We had a wonderful time traveling the week seeing beautiful gardens, historic castles and coastal vistas in Kent. Our guide Philippa and our driver Steve were both outstanding. Philippa is very knowledgeable and provided excellent commentary throughout our travels as well as helpful tips on what to see and where to eat at each stop. Steve expertly navigated us safely to our destinations each day. Both made a true difference to the quality of our experience on this tour! We also enjoyed the unique accommodations, with the cosy Mermaid Inn in Rye being a favourite. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing a beautiful corner of England rich in history and culture.

We had a fabulous time on our Trafalgar European Traveller tour. Pete, our Tour Director, was amazing with the knowledge he was able to share on each location that we visited. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone interested in European destinations

Travelers should know that the tour is “sub contracted” to Click Tours. They book through EXPEDIA. Paid for 4 Star hotel and was so disappointed. Carpets and furniture need to be replaced. Rugs/stairs in common areas were filthy. Hotel not conveniently located. Hotel services were terrible.
- by cathyvcoyle@gmail.com CoyleToo much crammed into each day. Didn't like tour ending at different location each day. One exceptionally good guide, Bruce! Two mediocre guides, Ilene and Mark. One below average guide, Pablo. Nice coaches!

The overall experience was poor due to the disappointing accommodation. We chose this tour because of its premium accommodation only to be told just prior to the tour date that the accommodation was downgraded to comfort and given $100. The accommodation, I believe , was never premium and was not acceptable. I can overlook the tour guide change 24 hours prior to the tour and the guides uncertainty of the trails ( that was not her fault), the lack of politeness of the waitress at breakfast, the smell of the pub ( it was like a urine smell), the wait of over three hours for a pick up bus but our travel couple were stuck in a room meant for one person and a closet turned into a bathroom ( as per your brochure picture), and locked in their room as the key did not work. My husband and I had a room where they moved in an additional bed- a double bed and a single bed squished together in the room that was not described in the brochure? We had paid significant monies for this tour- we looked up the cost of the Inn per night ourselves and it was 70 pounds. We would sincerely appreciate a refund with the difference between premium and comfort for our five nights' accommodation. We feel the tour accommodation was misrepresented to us prior to payment. I look forward to your reply. Penny Reynolds
- by PENNY REYNOLDSBeautiful countryside and excellent hikes with great leaders. So nice to come back to the same hotel each day and enjoy gourmet food after a fun day outdoors. Highly recommend.

Our 16 days Europe Crown tour was fantastic. I would definitely recomend it to anyone. Our best operator Anuj was excellent He was so professional and very helpful.
- by Nelly PolicarpioOverall very good. The hotel was a little further from the city center of Dublin, which made getting to the tours a bit of a walk (about 25-35 minutes). The tours were all very fun and it was nice to have it all booked for us. I would have liked to get the tour info a little sooner. The response time for TourRadar was really good and I liked being able to easily add a day at the hotel and airport transfer that was great. Great overall thank you!

Overall we had a very good experience. There are some things that could be improved.
- by Robert BakerThe lack of communication prior to the tour is the reason for the just OK overall rating. Tour documents did not arrive until after I reached out and then when they did arrive they were wrong. This caused unnecessary stress and put a damper on the start of our vacation.

The tour was cancelled by Intrepid so I'm unable to review it.
- by Larisa SerhijiwThe guide Theresa was amazing but I was disappointed with the accommodations. They split the group up. People who booked a single got to stay in a nice hotel overlooking the water and people who booked a double stayed in a rundown hotel down the street. The guide said in the past everyone had stayed at the same hotel so it was disappointing that I paid the same amount for an experience that wasn’t as good. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t worth it.

The guide, transfers and hotels were good. Thats about it.The visits were few and not planned properly. We missed Versailles palace as tickets were not available. No body told us the wait. Same problem in Louvre. We were the first one to pick up and last one to drop. Too much time waste. Also the focus group was Latinos. Even the English local guide ignored us. I could have done this one in recommended. I came just because of my wife who wanted a guided tour. Not recommeded.
- by Ramesh BasI was so grateful for doing this trip. The breakfast was very good in all the hotels we stayed. The tour guides were good. The only thing that was very disappointing was that I only had 1 dinner. Other group that took the excursions with me had dinner at least 3 times, more that we hadn’t. The tour guide said you have free time and the other group had dinner reservations.

We had a wonderful trip. The travel insurance through GLOBUS was a waste of money. My luggage never showed up in France and our flight home from Montreal was canceled. Not GLOBUS’ fault, but their insurance company, Aon, has so far not paid anything. I’ve jumped through all the hoops they’ve required, but they keep denying my claim. They needed statements from the airline and the tour director, which I’ve tracked down. Don’t buy their travel insurance!
The tour truly gave us the highlights of the beautiful cities. Our tour director was knowledgeable and caring. Loved the first class hotels. We saw the sites one only reads about: the Vatican, St. Mark's' square, Venetian glass demo, historical, picturesque Lucerne, hotel near the Eifflel Tower, enjoying the hourly light show, the Louvre and so much more. Our 40 traveling companions were congenial and we all seemed to enjoy this memorable experience. It's a great value.

Once a tour was actually booked...and not cancelled at the last minute...I was happy with my dealings with Tour Radar and the tor company.
- by Thom KhalerWe went to The Automoble Club of America to book a trip for our 25th Wedding Annaversary. My wife asked for a Disney tour. The AAA Agent said "there are too many kids on those tours". She said she had a better AAA Tour for London and Paris. We took her advice and Booked the AAA Tour. The london and Paris tour cost $ 8000. We were never told that this tour was farmed out to Collette Tours! We arrived in london on October 7th. two days before the tour began. On the day of the tour, we received a package under our door. it included the Itinerary. No where did the booklet say Collette tours, even the book that was used to purchase the tour, Collette tours was not mentioned. About the tour: Most of the people on the tour were elderly, many had canes with them. The bus used was a greyhound type of bus. It was suppossed to be a Panoramic tour. there was no way to get good photos from the bus. I expeced a tour bus and I was highly dissappointed. Also, the bus had a small isle between the seats. At every stop, It took more than 20 minutes to exit and enter the bus. When we got to Paris, we went to a cabaret for dinner and a show. the tables were close to each other. My wife accidently knocked over a small glass of wine, some of it spilled into my lap. After a few minutes, an elderly man turned to me and started to curse and yell at me, saying I spilled wine on him. The man said he would take me outside and kick my ass. When my wife started to explain, The man's wife cupped her hand and put it on my wife's mouth. The man kept yelling at me. In order to keep the peace, my wife and I left the table and went to the tour director. The tour director, Becky, put us at a table away from the group. She said she would talk to them. She never did, My wife was so upset,I felt it best not to continue with the tour, I wanted to avoid a confrontation. If we wet back on the bus, and that man or his wife would verbally assault us, It would have ended badly. While our vacation was ruined, That other couple and their friends continued their tour like noting happened. My wife was so upset, she stayed in the hotel room for the rest of the tour. After the incident, my wife called the Emergency number. It was an answering machine, she left a message. Needless to say, our needs were not addressed. I don't like the "Bait and Switch" that was used. We thought we were on a AAA tour, not Collette Tour! NEVER AGAIN !
