Itinerary
- Day 1
Chiang Rai
You'll arrive in Chiang Rai and meet your tour representative who'll handle your transfer to the hotel. Once you've checked in, the afternoon and evening are open for you to spend however you'd like. The old town has some interesting history going back to King Mangrai's time if you want to walk around, and the night bazaar is lively in the evenings with plenty of shopping and street food to check out.

- Day 2
Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll start with King Mangrai's monument before heading to the Hilltribe Museum to learn about the indigenous groups in the region. From there, you'll visit remote hill tribe villages and then stop at Mae Sai's border market. The Golden Triangle comes next, where you can see where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. After lunch, there's a 350-step climb up to Wat Phra That Chom Kitti in Chiang Saen, and you'll head back to Chiang Rai by evening with free time to relax.

- Day 3
Chiang Rai to Chiang Mai
You'll travel to Chiang Mai after breakfast, stopping at Wat Rong Khun, the all-white temple, along the way. Once in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is up next on a mountain with views across the city. You can climb the 309 naga steps or take the cable car, your choice. Later there's a scenic River Ping boat cruise, then you'll head to a farm for khao soi noodle curry and a traditional dance performance. The evening includes a walk through the flower and produce market before returning to your hotel.

- Day 4
Chiang Mai
After breakfast, you'll head to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary for hands-on work with elephants that focuses on their care and conservation rather than entertainment. You'll spend time observing them in a more natural setting and taking photos. Lunch happens next, followed by exploring the old town's temples like Wat Suan Dok with its 48 metre Sri Lankan-style chedi, Wat Phra Sing, and Wat Chedi Luang from the 14th century. An optional khantoke dinner is available if you want to end the day with traditional Thai food and culture.
