Itinerary
- Day 1
Cotacachi - Peguche
Start early from Quito and drive north through mountain scenery toward Otavalo. You'll spend the morning and early afternoon at the Indigenous market there, where you can browse textiles, handicrafts, ceramics, and jewelry from local vendors. After that, head to Cotacachi to look at leather goods and grab lunch. Later in the day, stop by Peguche village to see the waterfalls and check out the woven fabrics and wind instruments the area is known for. Then make your way back to Quito, arriving in the late afternoon.
